A memorial site has been created: http://web.me.com/sarahfarooqui/web.mac.com_sarahfarooqui/Memorial_Eli.html O

I have dreaded this moment since my first skydive – the death of a friend. I am saddened beyond words can describe. I feel privileged to have known you Eli … I will never forget you flying circles around me (literally)

I’m pretty much done here … See you guys at a drop zone near you (or me). If you’re an adult, you’re fun, and don’t have your head up your arse, walk up and say “hi” – I’d love to get a few jumps together. O

Those are mistakes I make sometimes … and most likely I have made them on this forum. Pardon me for offending your sensibilities by not strictly adhering to all the proper grammar rules . For someone whom has learned English by watching movies and listening to music, I do quite alright ... well, I do well enough to be trusted with quite few responsibilities in the corporate world … but I guess this forum has higher standards . I'd like to see how well the "spelling Nazi" do in their 2nd or 3rd language. On a second thought, that’s not important … I don’t really need to post here, do I? (I don’t.) O

Good morning guys and gals! O

So, I got to pack at some point today, as I have a busy week coming up (work) than hoping to jump my new canopy next weekend (in case it needs some adjusting.) What do I need to bring? (The taser gun is already in the suitcase ). Sophshire, piisfish and VB - we got to plan for that “dorkzone jump” (EU Edition) somewhere. MrDree … if you hurry up and get your license, you can join us ... O

I love my AltiTrack ... it is the only altimeter I use (on my wrist, with two audibles in my helmet.) Mine is one year old as well ... and it has one of those stress cracks ... I might have aquired it during my "wild landing" though ... when I broke my ankle
-
I'm glad I wasn't around during the times those threads were going. Now there is nothing anyone can hold agains me ... O
-
I think I just "pooped myself" reading this. Who comes up with this stuff???
-
LOL ... true ... it was getting a little boring around here ... Back to the original question, the list can be long for me, but if I had to pick one thing that makes me all "crazy", I'd have to say ... a great kiss
-
Umm … thank you guys for more help with my immersion into the American pop culture – I never heard most of the expressions used here ... O
-
Good morning gang. I'm still recovering from a head cold, so no jumping for me this weekend. Spending time at home with Minnie, catching up on some missed work ... and packing for Switzerland ... O
-
Ugh ... you land about as well as I do ... don't break yourself ... O
-
Thanks for another chuckle ... and considering I've been single (and celibate) for 4 months now, I better stay out of threads like this ... O
-
Thanks for the laughs ... Btw, we don't need "longer" ... if anything, we like ticker ... O
-
... or make out with my passanger. What? You've never done that??? O
-
Happy Birthday! Now I wish I fought off all those people flocking around you this weekend … and give you that hug I meant to give you for the past year or so ... O
-
Don't be wasteful!! Save it in some Tupperware, nuthin' like a warm meal late at night! Wrong thread ... isn't "sick and twisted" still going on somewhere around here? O
-
Why don't you come here and administer that in person ... bring that stuffed peppers recipie you tried to entice me with earlier ... O

How To Talk To Women The Andy Copland Way
OlympiaStoica replied to Andy_Copland's topic in The Bonfire
Yep ... I have ... Yes, I end up giggling and laughing, while I wonder if I should get offended about what he's actually saying ... The boy's got mad skillz ... O -
How To Talk To Women The Andy Copland Way

How To Talk To Some Women The Andy Copland Way If you think you can talk to every woman that way, without getting kicked in the nuts, well ... go ahead ... try it ... One a different note, although your choice of words might have been poor ("gross", etc.) the overall message was flattering (you praised her curvers.) So, someone at the receiving end of this "Andy Copland stye" talk might end up a bit thorn and confused about her reaction ... O -
Like everything else in the world, there is no one thing or one person at fault. While I agree partially with: This one is way off: I'd say more it was partially your fault for putting up with that sort of behavior. While it's understandable why you thought you should, you didn't have to do any of that if you didn't feel it was reciprocated or appreciated. If you didn't want to argue about all of those tasks, you could just say that you were going to get a maid, gardner, chef, etc. and you two could split the costs so you'd both have more free time. If he balked, propose to split the jobs with him. For a big dork, you speak awefuly intelligent sometimes ... All kidding aside, yes ... I believe it is my fault for putting up with it for way too long. I loved him and I thought that only if I could do more and work harder, maybe ... just maybe ... he'd love me back (and one day will show it.) I did get tired of arguing about sharing the tasks after a while. I recall his reaction when I created this simple spreadsheet - it had my name, his name and a list of domestic tasks ... we put check marks under who does what ... he is a venture capitalis/banker so I thought he'll understand numbers more than anything. I had 27 tasks I did on regular basis ... he had 1 (taking the trash out) ... and he'd only do it if I reminded him 20 times, which means I was still managing it. Oh ... the joys of being maried ... all this talk makes me appreciate being single. The sad part about life is that by the time we've learned all of our lessons, we're old ... and we die ... O
