    I will be studying Arabic in Morocco (Rabat, the capital). I don't have info about the family yet as I booked only today. I do know that not everyone in the bigger cities is especially traditional, so they may or may not be religious. They may be a large family with kids, parents and grandparents, or just a young (married) couple. So something fairly neutral, but not some crappy junk you just get at the airport... I knew it before you even write the answer!! Does the tour guide know you're coming?? Always be kinder than you feel.

    Oh, and go to HomeAgain.com and sign up to get the Missing Pet emails for the pets who are microchipped and registered. If their parents report them missing an alert email in generated, sometimes with a pic of the missing pet. Always be kinder than you feel.

    Don't forget to start making some calls to local vets, shelters, etc. and ask if anyone's reported the kitty missing and also ask if they have the scanner so they can check to see if kitty is microchipped, tattooed, etc. Always be kinder than you feel.
