  1. Nobody ever actually asked for the change, they would just give me say $12 when the bill is $11.75 and not say anything. But a few times I got change as a tip, or change as part of the total bill, and I would throw it in their driveway. Reminds me of this: FYI audio is kinda low.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTWy43yIfCM Why did I think that was the video of Deedy giving the pizza guys an entertaining night? I forgot about that night at Sebastian. Good times.... someone should post it to this thread because she does mention a tip in the audio. I'd post it but I lost the file in a laptop crash a while ago. She made me try Tuaca that night. I know she's got it on DVD, but I didn't copy it when I had the chance. You know... it was posted here a while ago. anthonyfellows posted it somewhere. Always be kinder than you feel.

She loved the TDS boogie that weekend. Miss her tons. Always be kinder than you feel.

  5. Mine was too. I never got a ticket because of that, or my exH being a cop too, or because everyone knew me from working in the court. I knew I wouldn't get in trouble but I remember running across a fairway at the country club where we were partying when I was a teenager. I tripped on a sprinkler when the cop was yelling at us to stop running. He caught up to us and said to me something along the lines of, You're XXXXX's daughter. Why did you guys run when you know you're not getting into trouble?" I still have a little scar on my shin from that fkn sprinkler. Hahaha. My first time getting pulled over I got stopped twice in 1 day Both cops said "I know your dad", and let me go. I get kind of embarrassed and feel guilty. One time I did a burnout in my Mustang and didn't see the 2 cop cars parked right down the road (it happened to be in my dad's town). The cop almost ripped me out of the car until he saw it was me, so he just punched me in the arm and sent me on my way. Another time I got stopped in his town and the cop saw my officer's son badge. He said "where does your dad work?". I was like "um..this town ". It gets awkward, especially that the cops come into my work and sometimes come to my house. I'll go downstairs in the morning to get cereal and see 2 on duty cops that busted the party I was at the night before chilling in my kitchen. You're not livin' until your Dad has to come pick you up from a neighboring town's police department. Always be kinder than you feel.

  7. If they didn't tip would they make you give them change back, like 50 cents or something like that?? Always be kinder than you feel.

  11. Have you two been talking??? My mom's default answer to every imaginable problem I might or have had is "move back home" (to Canada)...!! You'd be closer and we could go out for drinks. Nat plays a mean bagpipe too... Those Maritimers.... Now that you bring this up, , I get the "play" thing but I can't place where the bagpipes thing comes in. I've been meaning to ask... Always be kinder than you feel.
  12. You're in Key West? Always be kinder than you feel.
  13. Awwww.... thanks!! That would've been great. Next time! Always be kinder than you feel.
  14. A friend at my DZ had a wood fired oven built in his backyard and invites everyone over for Friday night pizza nights. He's a great cook and makes wonderful homemade pizzas. It's an art! I actually thought about having one built in my yard but knew just like the pool I had to have put in, it wouldn't get used that much. Always be kinder than you feel.
  15. "Liquor before beer, you're in the clear." Not all the time.... Always be kinder than you feel.

  17. Around here it's a almost like a very tacky contest on who tips the most. Think a bunch of Tony Soprano looking dudes with gold chains, Gucci loafers and wads of cash who like to flash it and outdo the other. I hate it but I think that's why some of the restaurants in AC and a lot of the delivery places have had the same staff forever. Always be kinder than you feel.
  18. Its not seeing that hand, he was looking for dead bodies after all, its when the hand squeezed back that probably made him soil his pants. Most dives in cold water, you kind of look forward to warming up your wetsuit the natural way. When my daughter was taking her certification class, she gave me a hard time about wearing a school wetsuit. I told her, "There are two kinds of wetsuit...'brand new' and 'been peed in'. I probably should have held off. I had to buy her a wetsuit. So true. Especially when you're on a dive boat, everyone is cold and people will say they can't wait to get into the water so they can pee and warm themselves up a bit. And it works. Then there's the people who stand at the back of the boat on the transom and pee while squirting the fresh water hose down their wetsuit. Too obvious. Just jump in, hang on the ladder and say you're checking the prop. As for the physics of how he survived in the gases here is a link that made my head explode and made me want to refresh my Dive Theory knowledge: http://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/67970/surviving-under-water-in-air-bubble Always be kinder than you feel.

  21. When I was married the xH but Gold Bond powder on the shopping list. I brought back the green container one. Never heard the fkn end of that one.... how could I know?? A PSA for the ladies... If you're in the powder room and find the toilet tissue roll is empty, do NOT use the Vick's Menthol Lotion Tissues sitting on the vanity. TRUST ME. Always be kinder than you feel.
  22. What's your problem, lady? Self respect / vertigo / boring Well what DID you do? Finished Level 64 of Candy Crush. So much for that self respect :p BOOM. LOL... touche. Always be kinder than you feel.

  25. But seriously, that was awesome. Nothing really rattles me at depth but seeing a hand would've given me a heart attack!! Why did the guy let the survivor through the passage first? I'd want them behind me in case they freaked. He certainly looked like he handled himself like a champ. Wonder if he had dive training? Always be kinder than you feel.
