  1. I have that many POTS a day. We won't go in to how much Diet Coke I drink when I stop drinking coffee at 10AM. I will tell you that I switch to caffeine free Diet Coke at 3PM, however. Anal? Who? Me? Wendy "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used u
  2. Bump. Don't forget where the money is going. Wendy "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used u
  3. OK. For those few of you that asked what you can do long distance for the Goshen (Indiana Skydiving Academy) fundraiser this weekend, here's a great idea! eeneR and I are auctioning ourselves off as (ahem) "love slaves". The really neat twist is that we thought it would be more interesting if we auctioned ourselves off as a package deal -- any guy reading this can't deny that the thought of getting two women over one is a very appealing one! But that's not where the long distance deal comes in -- we just HAD to get that off our chests (OK, OK, so eeneR is the only one with a real chest)! We were talking the other night about what we were going to wear for the shindig (as all chicks do, right???) and we just couldn't decide. So in the spirit of the we decided to change outfits as often as we could. You're asking "So the f*** what?", right? Well, this is where you come in. You agree to sponsor us for 5-10-15 bucks a change -- however much you want, and we provide the photo proof right here. Just a little forewarning -- we won't resemble the tomboy selves we normally are around DZs. We actually own girlie things, and even a few things that we wouldn't want anyone other than our friends to see. That's why we'll only post the photos here. Who else would possibly see them if they're only posted in a skydiver forum, right? We've already got one jumper/pilot out in CA that can't make it and is sponsoring us. I think he's still rolling around on the floor trying to picture us in movie-star evening gowns. A little question for eeneR though -- do you think we ought to charge double for the sponsors when they see the outfits we're going to wear for the auction portion of the evening? It'll take an awful lot of $$ to get me to allow *that* picture on the net! Get in touch with either one of us. We'd be happy to discuss our shameless whoring on Saturday night! btw -- if you ARE coming, please let Ward know by going to www.indianaskydivingacademy.com by tomorrow night. The chef would kinda like to know how many he's cooking for ... Blues. 4. My prides and joys -- the first is my girls and one of their friends at SDC by my trailer -- it had been raining and they were bored so I told them to go play in the mud. They didn't take me seriously at first ... but I think they figured it out ... The orange suit kid (Ashleigh) and green suit kid (Rachael) belong to me. The second is my 4 month old chocolate lab (Leroy Brown) after nosing around in the snow that I had just shoveled. Sad to think that this was only just weeks ago ... 5. Tuesdays With Morrie was wonderful. Went straight from that to Ken Alibeks "Biohazard". Makes for some interesting albeit scary reading, though his stories seem to get a little larger the longer he's in the States. Still, a great read. 6. Heya Missy -- That's disappointing and encouraging all at the same time. I'm sorry it didn't work out this time, but hopefully you'll be able to make enough noise to make the change. Need another petition? See you out there soon! 7. Lots of good things here. My two cents: I was your daughter at one point in my life. I didn't give a s*** about school, and there wasn't much anyone could do to "make" me get good grades. However, there was a person back then that planted a seed in my head about how stupid I actually wasn't (I spent a bit of time in and out of foster homes and was taken full custody of in my mid teens), but they knew then (though I didn't) that I needed to experience a bit of life before I went to college. Hell. I never even thought I'd go to college back then. I just wanted *out*. You could say they let me go, but it's more like I ran as far as I could when I turned 18. Bottom line is: someone in my past made some simple statements that were contrary to everything else I thought or thought I knew. If it weren't for that person(s), I would never have made it to working my way towards my 3rd and 4th degree and crying over an A- as a 30-something year old. Someone told me I could when everyone else said I couldn't. No matter what she chooses or does, just keep verbally expressing your faith in her. Ultimately, her success or failure is up to her. having you as her cheerleader can only be a plus. 8. Dude, that's not a wok, it's a 12 quart stock pot taken from an apparently very bad camera angle! I can't tell you what's in the soup. While Renee's hand never did make it, there are parts of her dogs that may or may not still be attached. Hmm ... maybe that's why you thought it was a wok? As for the pillow fight -- there wasn't anyone here to take the photos/video. Perhaps you would like to volunteer next time? Oh! Oh! She'll be here this next weekend for the fundraiser! You could come then! 9. Well, I just happen to have some boiling water lying around. I was hoping to stave off the coalition of TASTEE (Turkeys Against Skydivers Turkey Eatin' Eros) by disposing of any traceable DNA -- think this'll work? If not, I suppose sticking Renees hand in it could be fun too ... 10. Hmmmmmmm...... she's sleeping now. Think I should oughta go in there and start one? ! ? Wendy "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used u
  11. This is not for the squeamish or those that get sick at their stomache easily. We did in fact finish the autopsy, and somehow ended up with gruesome turkey parts on our laps while we were in a tryptophan-induced coma. I caution you -- do NOT view thes photos if you've been drinking and are thinking of throwing up anyway. 12. , it didn't make it, but we tried everything we could. See below ... Wendy "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used u
  13. Oh ... my ... gawd ... it's uncanny how much they look alike! It's *almost* like it's the mirror image of Chris! Wendy "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used u
  14. HOTHOTHOT! We're at my place. We're bored. I have a turkey (doesn't everyone have a spare turkey in their mudroom?). I have some Franks. I have a lot of oil (hehehe). I have one of them turkey fryer thingies. I have a digi-cam. We got stupid. See below ... 15. Please change your screenname. While I can read, a simple missed letter while PMing could spell the difference between privacy and total embarrassment. Wait. Chris? Am I already totally embarrassed? I never know. You'll have to point it out. Now, where'd you put that pointer ..... 16. Ummmm ... sorry about that, Ward. I only realized you had already tagged me on the list after I (finally) got there and added myself again! Please don't pass out in your own vomit. I can't and won't be lifting you into my scaled-down version of a full-sized van (ahem) if you're going to puke. Those windows in the back (you think I'd let you sit in the front??!) only tilt out so far ... Besides, I have other problems you said you'd help me with that night ... 17. Bill! Why is it that we live 20 minutes apart but only see each other 2 + hours away from here at the DZ, or online? Or was that you I saw in the choo-choo that made me late to my Public Figures Anonymous meeting today? Thanks for the support that's been received so far. It's never too late to donate gear or money (links-o-plenty in previous posts) and if you plan to attend the gig, PLEASE go to the site and sign the guest book so Ward knows how many he needs to plan on for dinner. It's not too late to reserve a bed at my place either. 18. Aight eeneR, I'm telling Ward to add another chick to the list. If you could please bring back some show-girl outfits from Vegas, I'd appreciate it. Wendy "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used u
  19. Bumpity, bump-bump-bump. Valerie! Here's a little challenge for YOU! I told Ward to go ahead and add me to the list of "Love Slaves" to be auctioned off. If there are any policemen on this list, this is NOT prostitution, this is NOT prostitution, this is NOT prostitution (if I say it enough, does it make it true???) ... ANYWAY, looks like I'm the only gal on the list so far, and by quirky chance the only actual single person as well. (How embarrassing would THAT be to draw the lowest bid?) Soooo ... How's abouts YOU add your name to that list? It's not like you have to wear a crotchless leather thong or anything ... Unless I, er, I mean YOU, want to! 20. Don't worry. I'm sending chili dip along to calm their nerves for the flight. I'll also make sure they understand to eat it before any upside-down rides and wear helmet-cams. 21. I'm offended that one would hate another they don't know personally. Career choice aside, if anyone judged you (reader, not just Lawrocket) because of something you once did or said, or even your career, would you be a tad uncomfortable? I don't talk about my career here because it's irrelevant to most of the threads. I don't list my deepest, darkest secrets here because they're private (well, except that one time ... at tunnel camp ...). I don't even talk about most of my dreams, aspirations, political convictions, personal beliefs (guess this post disqualifies that statement entirely) etc here because I'm sure there's someone who would find fault with them. I don't mind a constructive, logical argument over subjects that I'm qualified to argue, but frankly, I come here to laugh and chat with folks that I have something in common with. I don't know you, Lawrocket, so I can't say I hate you. All I know about you is you're a skydiver, you're becoming a Daddy soon, and you're a lawyer. 2 outta 3 ain't bad. 23. OK, I'll bite. What's involved? As an auction item, I wouldn't have to actually offer *love*, would I? Wendy "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used u

  25. If you haven't read about the fire and want directions, the wheres, the whens, the whozits and the whatzits, try http://www.indianaskydivingacademy.com/fire.htm Please PM or email me at TeamFunnel20@aol.com if you're looking for a place to stay (I'm about 20 minutes from the site) or want a designated driver for your group to the hotel of your choice near the site. I hope to see lots of you there! (Don't forget to "rsvp" at one of the links provided here and above so Ward and company knows how many to expect!) Also, it's *never* too late to donate skydiving gear and equipment as well as cash. Let Ward know if you have anything, even non-skydiving related -- to auction ...
