Racially motivated I doubt it as in I don't think the cops were looking for a black person to shot. On the other hand, I ask myself would the same cops have used the same lethal force on a white person in the same situation? My awnser is I highly doubt it. Of course I can't be sure but those are my thoughts

my .02 Nope....they know if they tried I'd tell them to go pound rocks it's my life!! People die in the bathtub on the stairs in cars yet you never hear people telling you not to wash walk or drive. I see it as a perception difference. Most people think they are safer then they truly are and don't like to be reminded of how dangerous life really is. As an example most people drive around in 2 ton machines at speeds that make impact possibly lethal and they think nothing of it yet more people are scared to fly then drive despite the statistics that say flying is safer. Couple that with the fear of falling that most humans have and you get a lot of irrational reasons why you shouldn't jump from people that know nothing about skydiving. Now how informed can these critics be. I personally don't listen to the uninformed they tend to rely on emotional rather than logical arguments Life is a dangerous sport skydiving or not it's your life don't let others tell you how to live it

Theres one thing that does not get discussed with my mother and my grandparents and thats cutaways. I feel that information would be of no benifit to them and might actually reduce their vicarious enjoyment of my skydiving. maybe in a few years I'll tell them about my first one

Also get slider bumpers if you have slinks...My slider was coming down and knocking a toggle loose which of course lead to line twists, spins and one cutaway before I figured it out. -

Edit Genesse makes Honey Brown Heres a scary fact Genessee Cream Ale is now called Genny cream ale and it sells for over 6 bucks a six pack, and is packaged like some upscale beer. My jaw dropped and I almost died of laughter when I saw it down here. I bet if you drink it you'll still wake up with the dreaded "Genny Screamers" Don't forget about Schaffer the one beer to have when your having more than one. what about the Bull, Olde frothingslosh ale, and Iron City all quality beers that are good for other people to drink

I've seen a few references to this on the boards and in commercials so since I'm bored I thought I'd give out some useless trivia. The Revolution Will Not Be Televised is a song by Gil Scott-Heron addressing the fact that theres more to life then whats feed to you on TV. I relly wonder if the suits at Nike and whoever else co-opted the phrase has ever listened to the lyrics(I think not). I really find it ironic that the song was ever used in a commercial at all. Here are the lyrics. They go with a sweet groove laid down by some bad ass jazz peeps

Well I really think this should have been called my favorite freeflyer because no criteria was laid out. There are so many people who's ability is so far removed from me that I don't think I would be good judge. That being said my totally biased opinion is Omar A.
