Ew...just ew. IMHO, people shouldn't be marrying family members, but like I said a few posts ago, people can marry their cousins in some states.

Saying that God created marriage would imply that anyone who doesn't believe in God is wrong too. I don't believe and I'm married. Saying that it is a certain way because God intended it to be that way would be making the assumption that everyone is to abide by Christian doctrine, which is pretty silly if you ask me.

I just don't care what anyone else does and can't grasp why anyone would. I just think that people should be able to have the same rights, regardless of their sexual preference. I mean, in some states you can marry your cousin....as long as their not the same sex as you.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I mean, it's great that the guy was arrested, but why was she chatting with him in the first place? I don't even respond to people who seem to be trying to initiate conversation for sexual purposes. If my husband had some chick come over to lure her into getting arrested, I'd be wondering how they started their correspondence to begin with.... -
So...did the people actually TAKE anything, or did they just go in, bake the dog, and leave? That's bad, but not as bad as the chick who cooked her baby in the microwave.

WTF does that mean? Means that people would be more apt to read all of your responses if you didn't make 47,219 posts in the same thread. Being concise is a skill that makes people more willing to actually read what you have to say instead of scrolling through all of the posts that say essentially the same thing over and over to get to what the next person has to say. You mean like YOU? My thread..GTFOI Did you seriously just resort to your own little version of, "I know you are but what am I?" Since you've resorted to juvenile arguments, I suppose it won't hurt for me to tell you that you might be taken a little more seriously if you presented yourself like...hm, I dunno....an adult?

Maybe it isn't so much that the point was ignored as much as it was that you weren't clear enough. It sure seems like there are a lot of people who "missed the point" that you are trying, unsuccessfully, to make. Not trying to stereotype and not stereotyping are two very different things. Apparently the validity of the points made by the writer is pretty subjective, because the majority of the people reading it seem to realize the ridiculousness of it. That's what I feel happened when you decided that posting it was a good idea in the first place.

The only way that Chrisianity would affect my vote would be if the candidate seemed to allow his or her religious views to hinder their ability to make sound political decisions. The same would apply to any religion, for that matter.

Thanks Now, as for the post, other than the Im proud line that seemed to wind up some here, what do you find wrong with it? Is racisim all one sided? I'm not sure how that isn't nice. It's just the same kind of blather you see and hear from people on sites like that. If it really matters to you, I know that it exists because I wrote a paper a few semesters ago about racism and the overwhelming majority of racists say the exact same thing that you posted here.
