    The more I read this letter the more it stinks. Sounds more like a campaign commercial than a letter to a friend. Why would he sign his first and last name? Why would he sign with his job title? My bet is this letter is bogus.

    I didn't say she was a perfect candidate. Nobody is. You have to weigh everything and see where the scale tips and go with your own gut. If you weigh everything and see where the scale tips, thats all you should need to know. no need for the gut. Anybody that believes Jesus himself could show any minute or that rapture bullshit could happen and is a heartbeat away is a very scary thought.

    Democrats are worried that if Biden goes after her too hard he will come off as a jerk, as Biden tends to get a little excited in debates. I hope he rips her a new asshole.

    It sucks having friends watch during AFF, I had a friend wait 4 hours until I jumped and I felt like I had to entertain him the whole time. It sucked even more cuz we land 10 miles from the DZ. AFF is not the time for any preventable distractions either.

    Genesis is riddled with so many inconcsistecies right out of the gate i'm embarresed for believers. Creating light and dark before the objects that produce them In Gen 1:27 god creates Adam and Eve and they do a few things and then later in 2:20-22 Adam is lonley and god creates Eve. ummm I thought eve was already there. Don't even get me started with Noah and the ark, this story is pathedic. Why is the god of the OT always killing little kids to get back at his enimeis? The bible does have some good family reading like when Lott offers his daughters to a group of angels to rape them. What about when the daughters get lot drunk to have sex with him. I guess it's just family values.

    I have another stupid and slightly embarrassing question. After returning to jumping after 25 years and last using a leg band, during my first few AFF jumps at pull time my hand went right to my leg. no matter how many practice touches I did. It's hard to believe muscle memory could last that long. Has anyone heard of this as a problem?

    Good job doing your homework on this. All i can say is if Mccain is elected I will find religion and pray for his health on a daily basis because the thought of her as president chills me to the bone.

    There is no such thing as Shia law. There is such a thing called Sharia law. Shia is a branch of Islam predominate in Iran and Iraq. Sharia law is what is practiced in our good friend Saudi Arabia's country. The problem is what some consider acceptable levels of religious influence in our country, I say zero and would prefer to see it based on science and not a book that is 2000 years old.

    Religion has no place in US politics. People have the right to go to chuch when ever they like, pray all they like, teach thier own children what ever they choose and live thier life based on what ever beleif system they like as long as it does not interfere with mine. When people want to make laws based on the supernatural I thinks it's crazy.

    No GOP contender would ever state they did not believe in creationism, this would be the kiss of death, hell for that matter no democrat would either.

    I don't know of one person ever being in any type of trouble for gaffing off jury duty. They do not send the summons certified mail so how the hell can they hold you to it.

    I just returned to jumping after a brief 1/4 century break. I just had a few question about the changes. I remember the pc was on my leg or belly, why and when did they go to the BOC? I remember my first 10 or so jumps on a square(first 20 on a military round) back then and they would not let us flare landings, just half breaks. Do i remember this right? I remember I did 5 or 6 SL'S and then what was called a "buddy jump" a 45 second freefall holding both hands of the instructor before I started the delay jumps. Was this the norm for 1982? What is the difference in the AAD'S now compared to 82? And when did rounds go obsolete for students?

    I am not sure what you mean by being ignored, but if you mean by the right not being reflextive of the majority of Christians who do not believe in ID, I think it's because the FC'S just have more political leverage.

    Fundie Atheist will never be in a position to set policy in this country as oppose to fundie Christians. School prayer, ID and lack of sex education are just a few of their plans and all this can happen during the next administration.

    Can you believe that the vast majority of people attending the GOP convention actually believe the earth is 6,000 years old and evolution is just a very flawed and silly theory. How could so many educated people believe this crap and ignore the overwhelming scientific evidence?
