http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/08/24/gop-rep-trent-franks-cons_n_267096.html http://www.politicususa.com/en/mcconnell-obama-muslim Richard Shelby In February 2009, a local Alabama newspaper reported that at a town hall meeting Senator Richard Shelby was asked if there was any truth to the rumors that Obama was not a natural-born citizen. According to the paper, Shelby responded that "Well his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven’t seen any birth certificate".[81] A Shelby spokesperson denied the story, but the newspaper stood by the story.[82] Roy Blunt On July 28, 2009 Mike Stark approached Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt asking him about the conspiracy theory that Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen. Blunt responded: What I don’t know is why the President can’t produce a birth certificate. I don’t know anybody else that can’t produce one. And I think that’s a legitimate question. No health records, no birth certificate.[83] Blunt's spokesperson later claimed that the quote was taken out of context.[84] Jean Schmidt After giving a speech at the Voice of America Freedom Rally in West Chester, Ohio on September 5, 2009, Republican congresswoman Jean Schmidt replied to a woman who commented that Obama was ineligible for the Presidency,"I agree with you. But the courts don't."[85] Schmidt's office subsequently responded that a video clip of this comment was "taken out of context", and reiterated that her stated position is that Obama is a citizen.[86] She had earlier voted to certify the Electoral College vote affirming his presidency, and had said she believes Obama is a U.S. citizen.[87] The statement was issued in response to a July 28, 2009 YouTube video in which Schmidt was seen running away from Mike Stark when he asked whether or not she had any questions about President Obama’s citizenship status.[88] Sarah Palin On December 3, 2009, Sarah Palin was interviewed on Rusty Humphries' radio talk show. During the interview, Humphries asked Palin if she would make Barack Obama's birth certificate a campaign issue in 2012, should she decide to run. Palin responded I think the public rightfully is still making it an issue. I don't have a problem with that. I don't know if I would have to bother to make it an issue, because I think that members of the electorate still want answers. Humphries then asked her a followup question if she thinks Obama's birth certificate is a fair question, to which Palin answered, "I think it's a fair question, just like I think past association and past voting records—all of that is fair game. The McCain–Palin campaign didn't do a good enough job in that area."[89] After news organizations and blogs picked up the quotation and associated Palin's comments with the "birther" movement,[90] Palin issued a statement on her Facebook page in which she clarified that she meant to say that voters have the right to ask questions, and she herself has never asked Obama to produce a birth certificate. She then went on to compare questioning of Obama's birth certificate to questions that were raised during the 2008 presidential elections about her maternity to her son, Trig.[91] The linkage between the question whether Trig is her son to Barack Obama's birth certificate issues has been heavily criticized by Mark Milian of the Los Angeles Times.[92] In addition, Andrew Sullivan, an established skeptic of Palin's relationship with Trig, wrote in response to her comments: "Palin has never produced Trig's birth certificate or a single piece of objective medical evidence that proves he is indeed her biological son."[93] [edit] David Vitter At a townhall meeting in Metairie, Louisiana on July 11, 2010, David Vitter responded to a question about Barack Obama's birth certificate saying "I personally don't have standing to bring litigation in court, but I support conservative legal organizations and others who would bring that to court. I think that is the valid and most possibly effective grounds to do it." His campaign did not provide any additional comments on the matter.[94][95] [edit] Commentary and criticism A man carrying a sign with a birther slogan at a Tea Party protest in Austin, Texas on July 4, 2009[31][96]In an August 23, 2008, article about Berg's lawsuit, WND claimed it had investigated Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate using forgery experts and "found the document to be authentic",[73] contradicting claims made in other WND articles and in Corsi's book. Apparently, the vicious personal attacks made against GW Bush for 8 years were justified in your opinion, though? Give me a break. There were vicious personal attacks against Dubya, most carried out by the ultra left press. Most self respecting elected Democrats refused to buy in to this, a good example would be Michael Moore. When did you ever see a member of Congress or the Senate pal around with Moore or use him as a source? Almost never, they were embarressed by him. I started a thread about how full of shit he was. Attacks on Policy is a whole other issue, if you wanna go after Obama based on FACT, have at it, there are lots of good anti HC arguments to be made. When members of Congress and the Senate have to resort to the death panel MYTH, that is plain chicken shit. Attacks by the press on Dubya are one thing, attacks like we now see by the Senate and House are another.

*** Once again, all bulshit. But more will probably come out later.

I don't recall anyone asking how many trips Dubya made back to the ranch when he was in office. (77 plus 11 to maine) http://www.dailykos.com/story/2009/6/2/738037/-Bush-Made-77-Trips-to-Crawford-TX-at-$226,072-a-Pop

If the motive of the tea baggers was strickly fixing the budget, not a problem. When a large majority of them believes myths invented by the tea baggers and believe action needs to be taken on the belief of these myths, I think it's a problem and morally wrong. When have you seen a President attacked on the same level that Obama has been attacked? Funny how when he won two years ago and the Dems had the house and the senate That the Right did not say " The Dems have a mandate from the people and we should work with them" What did the right do? They attacked Obama on a scale this country has never seen. Now with the recent election, They claim they have a mandate from the people and Obama should respect that. Hypocrites. I think the shared "spirit" of the the tea baggers is the terror that they have a Kenyan born Muslim who is also a terrorist loving commie.

Out of the ten that are listed, how many do you believe? If you are just gonna toss out insults at me instead of responding to the content of the post, have at it. We will never agree on religion due to the fact that it is impossible to agree on the evidence. What the tea baggers have done in recent and current history can and will be disseminated.

What on earth are you talking about? The perp was charged with a crime. The President obviously has a tighter security ring, no fucking shit. Keep drinking the cool aid.

A large majority of our country believes this shit, In ten years when historians look at the teabaggers, it will be astounding at how so few, had so many believing such crazy prefabricated falsehoods. http://crooksandliars.com/jon-perr/10-lessons-for-tea-baggers

Did you not just say a women deserved to be assaulted for no other reason than being an accused felon? Could you please refer us to the part of the constitution that prescribes that. I think you're just a hypocrite.

Top ten crazy Bachmann qoutes: 1. "I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out under another, then under another Democrat president, Jimmy Carter. I'm not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it's an interesting coincidence." -Rep. Michele Bachmann, on the 1976 Swine Flu outbreak that happened when Gerald Ford, a Republican, was president, April 28, 2009 2. "I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out: Are they pro-America or anti-America?" -Rep. Michelle Bachmann, calling for a new McCarthyism, Oct. 2008 3. "Take this into consideration. If we look at American history, between 1942 and 1947, the data that was collected by the Census Bureau was handed over to the FBI and other organizations at the request of President Roosevelt, and that's how the Japanese were rounded up and put into the internment camps. I'm not saying that that's what the Administration is planning to do, but I am saying that private personal information that was given to the Census Bureau in the 1940s was used against Americans to round them up, in a violation of their constitutional rights, and put the Japanese in internment camps." -Rep. Michele Bachmann, June 2009 4. "During the last 100 days we have seen an orgy. It would make any local smorgasbord embarrassed … The government spent its wad by April 26." -Rep. Michele Bachmann, accusing the Obama administration of premature fiscal ejaculation, May 2009 5. "That's why people need to continue to go to the town halls, continue to melt the phone lines of their liberal members of Congress, and let them know, under no certain circumstances will I give the government control over my body and my health care decisions." -Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), a pro-lifer who completely missed the irony of using the same slogan as the pro-choice movement in arguing against health care reform 6. "Carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn't even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas." -Rep. Michelle Bachmann, April, 2009 7. "There are hundreds and hundreds of scientists, many of them holding Nobel Prizes, who believe in intelligent design." -Rep. Michele Bachmann, Oct. 2006 8. "I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us 'having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,' and the people -- we the people -- are going to have to fight back hard if we're not going to lose our country." -Rep. Rep. Michele Bachmann, March 2009 9. "Does that mean that someone's 13-year-old daughter could walk into a sex clinic, have a pregnancy test done, be taken away to the local Planned Parenthood abortion clinic, have their abortion, be back and go home on the school bus? That night, mom and dad are never the wiser." -Rep. Michele Bachmann, on health care reform's potential to dupe parents, October 2009 10. "I don't know where they're going to get all this money because we're running out of rich people in this country." -Rep. Michele Bachmann, accusing the Obama administration of plotting to divert money from Republican to Democratic districts and planning to tax the wealthy to fund the windfalls, Feb. 2009

Typical bullshit from Teabaggerville, They throw out the lies and then want you to disprove them. Kind of like one of our truther friends. http://factcheck.org/2010/11/ask-factcheck-trip-to-mumbai/

Can you explain what in the hell that has to do with what happened to her? This whole thing is a perfect example of how most tea baggers can not have a set of FACTS presented to them in black and white, and they just can't see it. A restrained female on the ground and a man steps (stomps) on her head, and they can't see it for what it is. How in the world if they don't have the capabilities to comprehend this can they comprehend much more complex situations. And old Skippy still blaming the victim I have a feeling old Skippy could be led to believe just about anything.

My only point was to say that the OP stated the guy was rude to him. Was the guy rude? We will never know. For the sake of this post I am taking the OP's word that the guy was rude. I think perhaps a person's perception of this situation could vary with jump numbers. and by looking at all the post here, it appears that way. a few of the posters here come off like complete dicks. Even if this guy did ask to join the jump after it had been dirt dived, he only has a 100 jumps give him a break. Explain in a civilized manner why you can't jump with him, it's not that hard. The vast majority of people I have jumped with have been great people, and that is one of the reasons I continue to jump. I have seen on rare occasion in this sport where people can be complete dick heads. The bottom line is we will never know what happened, If the guy truly was a dick, fuck him, move on and forget about it. I really dislike rude people, I like what Hannibal Lecter thought about the rude;''whenever it was 'feasible, I preferred to eat the rude. ' -

Suck it up, cupcake. Instead of getting so reactionary, have you tried stepping back and thinking why he might not have wanted another person there? Yeah, you probably were. An experienced jumper, who's being nice enough to jump with a newbie, is probably wanting to teach him some basic skills, and he's going to be able to accomplish a lot more in a two way that he can completely control than a three way. He had plans for the jump, you didn't fit into them, end of. You don't have a right to slot into any and every skydive you want to, even if you're sure you're good enough to handle it. IF the OP simply asked to join them and was told in a very rude manner that he could not, WTF, he is not bitching about not jumping with them, just how he was responded to. Newbies are always told to ask other experienced jumpers if they can safely join them. If you don't ask, you probably won't ever get asked by them. What is wrong with a simple "Thanks for asking, but we already have a dive plan, may be if I have time later we could do that 3-way". I have been very lucky for the most part, every one at my DZ has alway gone out of thier way to jump with newbies.
