Paradise lost... The Satanic Child killers Freed.
jclalor replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
If anyone followed the excellent "Paradise Lost" HBO documentaries on the W, Memphis Arkansas child killings that started the "Satanist are out killing our kids" scare of the early nineties, looks like it has finally come to and end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVQCw6HGZ5s I guess some proponents of capital punishment are disappointed. http://www.tmz.com/2011/08/19/west-memphis-3-prison-released-damien-echols-jason-baldwin-jessie-misskelley-murder-guilty-plea-deal-release-arkansas-court/ -
What conclusions might you arrive at given the data in the graph ?

http://www.gallup.com/poll/149063/Americans-Satisfaction-National-Conditions-Dips.aspx Dude!!!!!! you finally found a poll that suits your needs, congrats. Interesting that this poll is not of registered voters or even appears to be of English speaking citizens. Remember when you dismissed my poll because it was not of registered voters? or should I go back and find your exact words? Let me help jog your memory. I showed a CBS poll that showed over 70% of the population supported budget cuts and raising taxes on the top 2%. You responded; I then provided 19 other polls that you dismissed, but now when you finally find that fits your agenda... -
. It appears I made a mistake, but if you still wish to compare forgetting a name to forgetting about the collapse of the evil empire, more power to ya.
-
He screwed up the name of where he ate breakfast? Bachmann fumbles with the most historic event to possibly occur in our lifetime and you compare that to forgetting where he ate breakfast? Fucking priceless once again. Everyone makes mistakes, the frequency and severity of mistakes is what makes the difference. OTOH, Rick Perry told a child the other day that evolution "is just a theory" It appears his understanding of what a scientific theory is based upon is a little lacking. You know, just like the germ theory, gravitational theory , atomic theory, cell theory, plate tectonic theory, just to name a few. What will those wacky scientist think of next? http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2011/08/rick-perry-evolution-presidential-race-/1

http://www.gallup.com/poll/149063/Americans-Satisfaction-National-Conditions-Dips.aspx My conclusion is that the Country, on average, was more satisfied when the Democrats were in the White House. -

I never said anything REMOTELY close to denying a late term abortion to save the life of the mother. you do know the definition of "whim"? let me help. 1. a sudden, passing, and often fanciful idea; impulsive or irrational thought. That does does not sound like a decision based upon advice from a medical expert. How you got from point A to point B I will never know.

Maybe he can use Perry's model of creating jobs in Texas; Government Jobs, 125,000 of them. How many Private sector jobs did Perry create? So when Perry tells you about creating all those private sector Jobs in Texas, consider this; http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/rick-newman/2011/08/16/how-rick-perry-created-jobs-in-texas?s_cid=rss:rick-newman:how-rick-perry-created-jobs-in-texas

You are really willing to say that an 8 month pregnancy can be terminated on the whim of the mother? I am straight up in favor of early term abortion, But I always thought the weak link in the pro choice argument is that a women should be able to do with her body as she pleases at any point in the pregnancy. I mean 1 week before the due date, it is baby and it's murder.

No shit sherlock. Did you just figure this out? AS opposes to the union leadership conspiring to do this.
-
Perhaps some low life union member did do this, this is different than the union themselves doing such behavior.
-
I know what WIC is, Just thought the OP had no idea, I have done work with them. It never gets old seeing the Christians get all worked up when poor infants and children are provided with nutrient rich food. You can't make this stuff up.
-
So some low life thug did this, how do you figure the union was behind this? Talk about jumping to conclusions.

Republican Pussies Charging for Town Hall Meetings
jclalor replied to jclalor's topic in Speakers Corner
Incorrect, I am laboring under the notion that anyone can have free access to their Congressman at least a couple of times a year. Just like the rest of the Republicans and Democrats do. That means face to face, not having a visit by their "Mobile office staffers" It is a simple concept, Congress has been doing it and still continue to do it, except for these 2 pussies. I don't know quayles motive, but the last time Ryan did this, he had his ass handed to him and now he is a pussy. Show me a Democrat that will not have free town hall meetings and i'll cal him a pussy. -

You do have a short memory, you don't recall teabaggers frothing at the mouth demanding the Government keep their hands off of Midi-care? who could forget. I don't want to sit at a table and eat, I want access to my congressman a couple times a year for free. That you would think a person must pay to talk to their congressman is so fucking moronic, I feel sorry for you. These Republicans are not pussies, they have town hall meetings for free. http://www.ajc.com/news/anger-at-congress-surfaces-1099345.html -
Republican Pussies Charging for Town Hall Meetings

Quayle was elected and Ryan re-elected in the 2010 Congressional elections, so that's out. Next smear attempt? You miss the point once more, I said someone who is running (Bachmann and Perry) can have private campaign events, this is nothing new. Elected members of Congress have always had meetings with their constituents, now these 2 pussies are charging (Even though they could expense the cost) to have ANY face time with their Congressman. I thought the tea party was in favor of a more open Government with the people having more direct access. I thought all of you tea baggers carried a copy of the constitution in your pocket. http://topics.law.cornell.edu/wex/First_amendment so being responsible and not adding to the governments cost is breaking the constitution? charging for a meal is illegal? you need better than that. I believe a person should have the right to meet with his Congressman with out having to pay a fee, buy dinner or whatever. This is a pretty simple proposition. Could you imagine the outrage from the TP if they were charged by Democrats to attend town hall meetings on healthcare. It just amazes me that all the tea party backers here, who's main battle cry is that the little guy be heard from his Government, can't see anything wrong with this. Show me a Dem Congressman that does not provide a free venue with his constituents. And if you can, that Democrat is a pussy -

How do you know - did you attend, or are you pulling it out of your 5th point of attachment like the rest of your posts on the thread? So just to make sure I understand what you are saying, Congress should be able too charge for town hall meetings?
