  1. I think these two are probably way more moral than the rest of the GOP primary field. The fact is, a large a percentage of the conservative Christian GOP will never vote for a Mormon if they have a conservative Christian choice instead.
  2. If the right was running McCain against Obama right now, Obama would be history. But the GOP reminds me of the circus, when the little car pulls up and more and more clowns keep getting out. That's the GOP right now. Bachmann then Paul and then Perry and Cain, and now Gingrich, it's a circus. The only one that knows his ass from a hole in the ground is Hutsmen and he's hovering in the low single digits, not to mention he still has the Mormon thing going on like Romney.
  3. Well that must be a coincidence that he bad mouths them once he's off their payroll. You don't know what advice he gave them while on their payroll. You also don't know what changes may have occured between 2008 and 2010. You are just buying in to the latest left-wing propoganda to attack whichever Republican is surging in the polls. But they make it so easy. In reality the left does not want to attack them all, just the ones that stand the best chance of beating Obama. I like Bachmann, she's wonderful, I hope she gets the nomination.

  5. And he looked like he was coming up in the polls. This is why the vast majority of Americans hate Washington. Newt making almost $2,000,000 to be a "history" consultant. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gI5uxryHXGwRwnii7H0yQJCe3hcA?docId=b1fb32e70a144fd999eeb66df9b12e8e At the same time he is making hundreds of thousands from Fanny and Freddie, he says this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALVZ4c6Lz48
  6. Kind of like the right wing nutter who flew his plane into the IRS building killing one and injuring many. Not to even mention Oklahoma City. Your source also does not support anything in your thread:
  7. Please alert us when the DOJ decides to prosecute someone about being less than truthful about their weight on Match.com. The Government "running guns" to Mexico is almost as bad as providing weapons to Iran. What a surprise, looks like a mucho problemo for this Mexican gun runner. http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2011/09/13/fort-worth-mom-accused-of-gun-running-for-mexican-drug-cartel/
  8. If you think that the greatest transfer of wealth in US history will continue with the majority of people sitting idly by and watching, you're sadly mistaken.
  9. What he said. Someone allegedly saw Sandusky raping a young boy. THAT PERSON should have a) stopped it and b) called the cops. Instead, they told Paterno. Not having seen it himself, and the perp not having worked for him for years, he did the logical thing and told his boss. Calling cops with "I heard such & such" isn't something many of us would do either. Paterno got crucified on this deal, and for no real good reason. It's a damned shame that someone who's been such an upstanding model for the sporting community (literally one of the only people in that industry whom I respect) has his entire body of work tarnished, his good deeds negated, solely because someone else was a sick bastard. Blues, Dave If someone told me they heard of an adult raping a child, I would be on the phone in seconds. Letting the police figure it out is better than second guessing. If it was your child who was raped because people passed the buck, you would probably be a little more critical. Plenty of people that dropped the (pardon the pun) ball.
  10. [ What to people who watched think? This was the minor leages compared to Caine not knowing China had nuclear weapons.
  11. You guys have really beaten these to death, time for new material.
  12. He's fucking Santa, where else is he supposes to land?
  13. You guys remind me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eDaSvRO9xA&feature=related
  14. I love this guys logic; 99% of the poor in the US have running water and flushing toilets, yet 0nly 3% of those living in sub-saharan Africa have the same. The nerve of these people bitching about their plight and not knowing how good they really have it. While buying a refrigerator, microwave, or computer may seem like living high on the hog to your average Ugandan, it's not here. Being able to afford home ownership, quality medical care, retirement and being able to afford to put your children in college is a little different than being able to afford a PS3 and a blender. I know if Jesus was to return today, he would rebuke all these ungrateful poor leaches, he had very little patients for the poor.
  15. I don't know who said to put your money under a mattress, the idea was take the money out of the large banks (B of A, Wells Fargo, etc etc...) and then putting it in small local banks and credit unions. I heard this morning there are some small banks in the Bay area that opened more accounts in a week than they did all year.
  16. With all due respect you are whining that BoA wanted to charge you 2.5% instead of 1%. This just illustrates the generational gap between those of us who experienced the last big recession as young people coming out of school and finding huge hurdles to overcome (the recession of the early 1980s) and this current economic climate we find ourselves in. Not saying things aren't bad now, except those of us who had to deal with the recession of the early 1980s, we also had to deal with double digit interest rates sometimes as high as 20%. And here you are whining about 2.5% rates. Just curious what part of that did you consider whining? Why would you pay over $1,700 more for a loan of $45,000 over 4 years when you don't have to?
  17. http://moveyourmoneyproject.org/ If your upset, take a shower, then do something about it. Take a shower? that's the best you have? LOL
  18. The second one, hands down.
  19. I would not care a bit about a person's religion, just that their policy would not be influenced by their religious beliefs.
  20. Proverbs 23:13 ESV: "Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you strike him with a rod, he will not die." While I know there is no one in SC who condones this this kind of behaivor, I wonder why some here condone a God that does. It has always struck me as odd, that when the majority of sane people have an intrinsic value of right and wrong, are then all to willing to gloss over the cruelty that their God relishes in.
  21. Child beating is done more frequently in Texas then any other state. 50,000 times a year by teachers. But the shocking thing is it's done by Government employees. The ones you guys claim are way to inept to do anything, outside of beating your children. Gee, wonder where good old Pat Robertson will end up on this one. 50,000 times a year, a child in Texas is beaten by a teacher? How strange, we only hear of one judge here, beating his daughter with a belt... 7-years ago! From my search, corporal punishment in schools in the 19 states that allow corporal punishment, there has been a drastic decline since 2004. As of 2007, 1.1% of students in Texas have met with some form of corporal punishment. Texas has also shown a drastic increase of school districts to abolish corporal punishment. 22. After 100 tandem jumps, me and my TI finally moved into our own place. It seems to be working out. After 198 tandems I finally got the nerve to try AFF. Things are not going well, I'm making my eleventh attempt at my category z this weekend.
  23. Give it a day or two and the Christian fundies will be out in full force defending him and decrying the internet as a tool of Satan. Personally I like a good spanking, God only knows how much I have spent... But I digress.
