    I would leave the jewelry in. Clean the area and sterilize the jewelry. As long as everything has been sterilized there is no increased risk of infection. It is no different from the origonal piercing. While stretching my ears I have been torn and bloodied in all kinds of horrible ways. Just keep it clean and treat it like a fresh piercing.     ya the red usually fads to pink pretty quick, usually within 2 weeks. sometimes it still looks ok, sometimes it looks like crap.     Ya I've met Enigma a couple of times. He can often be found at tattoo conventions. Saw his freakshow in london ontario about 5 years ago. He was performing with a girl named Katzen. she is also completly tatooed to look like a cat and has piercings in her face that let her have whiskers. Thier show was called the human marvels.
