Yeah thats pretty much where I am at in life dude. it seems like I am going to be single forever... Never been in a relationship that lasted more tan a few months and I dont see it happeneing anytime soon... if ever Your right about the commitment thing... First off, where do you jump? Some Skydiving associations offer gear insurance for just those sorts of incidents. Sometimes your renters or homeowners policy will also cover this kind of stuff. I added a special policy to my tenants insurance to cover sporting equipment up to $25,000 to cover loss or damage for a pretty cheap premium. I was jumping at a dz in ontario last summer when a tandem student lost their $1000 gold necklace that they were warned against wearing for the jump. Sure enough, it came off during the jump. Dude spent all weekend loooking for it, even went out and bought a metal detector. LZ was surrounded by corn fields... He gave up looking. Few days later one of the staff members there was out walkng his dog in the morning, after the dog did it buisness and he was picking it up he noticed something shiny in the grass.... sure enough, he found the lost gold. So Im a little slow. I just realized the pure comedy in the fact that I am going to Malaysia in order to apply for immigration to Australia. I left home when I was 20 to go work on the other side of the country. I left my girlfriend that I had been with for about 6 months behind. I found out a few months later that she was now dating my little brother. I was fine with this but wrned him that she was a crazy bitch. He called me a few months after that and told me I was right. A few years later I was back home visiting my parents and I was out partying in the city with some old friends. I picked up this girl at the bar and went home with her. While I was getting it on with her she noticed my tattoo on my stomach, she stopped for a minute and goes "oh thats why you looked so familiar" My other brother has the same tattoo as me and apparently this chick was my other little brothers ex girlfriend. Im not selling my rig, although I have really thought about it. Senfing it to a rigger for safe keep and to get some wrk done on it. Cypres need it's 8 year done so Im having that done. I help off on downsiing this year knowing that this ight happen so that when i come back I will still have a canopy that is very familiar to me. There is just way to much uncertainty with what I will be doing with myself in the next year. It's all very exciting and I have absolutely no idea where I will end up. It's gonna be fun

For a while anyway... It sucks, and I am kinda of scared. I will be hanging up my rig for an unknown amount of time. I am not quitting the sport, I am just going to do some other things in life that for numerous reasons won't involve jumping. I am excited as can be about these new adventures, but at the same time I am very tempted to just take my rig and this huge pile of cash I have ang just go live in a tent in Eloy and jump my fucking brains out for the next 6 months... but the more I think about it, I just can't do that. Since I have started jumping I have travelled quite a bit. Jumped at over 40 dz's in 4 years, pretty cool hey, yet I feel that I have missed the plot in many of these places that I have visted because I was too busy trying to get out and jump. I just spent a year travelling around australia jumping at every DZ I could find, going to every boogie I could and after a year in Australia it feels like haven't experienced much of it at all. When I wasn't jumping, I was working 12 hour days 7 days a week trying to make money for the next boogie. In a couple of weeks i am putting my life into a backpack and heading off on a new adventure and leaving my rig behind. I'll see ya when I see ya

Thats the plan. It a course with the British Counsel. It is a preperation course for the IELTS exam. I scored 9,9,8,7 on my last test so I only really need to improve my writing and listening skills but Im sure it wont hurt to brush up on the other skills as well. I am also really excited about the cultural learning I will be able to by actually attending a course with locals in kuala lumpur.
