I remember reading that. I am so sorry you had to do that. I am incredibly scared that I will have to go through that with my beloved pup one day. I pray that she and I will have a long life together... once I get her back.

No matter what the breed, NO DOG, OR ANY ANIMAL FOR THAT MATTER, should ever be punished severely. That is absolutely the worst thing you can ever do. A firm and loud, "NO" is more than enough to let them know you are upset. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER hit your pet!!

My brother and his wife are like that. They love the puppies, but when they grow up, they find a reason to get rid of it, then get another puppy. It makes me so mad I could scream!!

Speaking of doggies... a co-worker has some really adorable Italian Greyhound puppies for sale. They are 1 week and 1 day old today. Anyone interested???

A co-worker sent that to me and I sat here at my desk crying!! I just had to leave my dog in Texas with her "Granny" while I move into a new place here in Florida. I don't know when I will see her again, but at least I know she is loved and "Granny" will take good care of her. I cry every day because I miss my dog so much. I can't wait until I can get her back!

I'm sorry... I didn't mean to upset you. Some people don't realize what happens when they leave their pets in the pound. They just assume that someone else will come along and "love" their pet like they did. In reality, if they really "loved" the pet in the first place then it wouldn't be in the pound!!!

I had food poisoning a few years ago from a turkey sandwich. I started getting sick on Sunday and it lasted until the following Thursday morning. 4 1/2 days I guess. I'm sending VIBES your way that you'll be better soon!! -
I've checked that, and so far they are about the same. But, I'm hoping to find something cheap, quick! I can't believe I forgot all about the tickets!! OMG!! Oh well... thanks to all of you with the great help I have more options.

I'm blonde and fair skinned, too, and I burn easily. The best thing I ever found was something called "FOIL." It looks like shoe polish or something, but GOD it works!! I had a HUGE, MONSTER of a blister that covered my entire shoulder on summer. Someone put that stuff on it, I went to bed, and it was gone in the morning!! GOOD STUFF!! It's hard to find, but once you find it, it's worth the hunt!!

Hahaha... from Tampa to Sacramento. I checked hotwire and didn't see anything I liked. I'd prefer to pay as less as possible - DUH! Who wouldn't! "No, no, let me pay more!!" Right!!

Can anyone direct me to find the cheapest plane tickets out there?? I've looked on Expedia, Travelocity, and Cheaptickets. I've also been to the airlines specific websites. Are there any travel agents or airline workers on here that can point me in the right direction! I've goofed up and forgot to get my tickets and now I have to leave next weekend - and no tickets! HELP!!

My parents told me a long time ago that they will never force me to go to college. It isn't for everyone, and if I decied to quit going, that would be fine with them. It has taken me 8 years of going off and on, and I still don't have my Associates degree. I'm working on it, but I don't want to be one of those people whose head is buried in the books stressing over getting it done. I've been happy skydiving, living, and learning from my mistakes. I know have the support if I go to school, and I know it will disappoint my whole family if I never go back to school, but they will support me with that, too. Luckliy, I want to get my degree and I want to finish school. It isn't for everyone... and I will be the first to lobby for you to do what you feel is right and not what you have been told is right. If you think dropping out and spending your life skydiving, or whatever it is that you or anyone else want to do, then DO IT and HAVE FUN!! -
