Umm, ok... what's your email address?? Can I PM it to you??

Can you find out where someone is posting/emailing from with an IP address? I know very little about what kind of information you can get from the IP address and have some questions. Thanks!

I bet this is one of those things that she will remember for the rest of her life. She may be young, but she'll remember! When I was 6, we lived in Michigan. Christmas morning my brother and I got up to see what Santa had left for us. My mom called us into the kitchen to look out of the kitchen window. There were "reindeer" prints in the snow! We were ASTOUNDED!! We couldn't belive it! That was PROOF that Santa had been at our house and his reindeer left prints!! Do you know, my mom still swears to this day that they had nothing to do with it. They have no idea what it could have been, but they have promised over and over that they didn't do it.

Does Amazing Grace give anyone else goose bumps and shivers?
jumpergirl replied to Viking's topic in The Bonfire
You bet! There are other songs that do the same, but that is definitely in the top of the list. Hmmm... Amazing Grace Star Spangled Banner When Eagles Fly I can't think of others right now... but yes. -

I absolutely love jumping with my Honey. I seem to be at my best with him in the air. He encourages me and is an awesome coach. He can tell me things in ways that make it click when I've been working so hard trying to do it "other" ways. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out on Monday, a week before Christmas. Therefore, I won't be eating a nice Christmas dinner on Sunday, and since I'm off this whole week, we have no paycheck coming on Monday. I should have planned a little better.

Have you ever cut away for an unstowed toggle?
jumpergirl replied to cbain's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Same for me on #396. Then the DZO told me I should have landed on rear risers, on an unfamiliar canopy at a new DZ with 23 jumps. Not the DZO, but SEVERAL people asked me why I didn't just land on rear risers. Well, hmm, only my 2nd jump at that dz, different winds than the day before when I made the 1st jump there, only about 10 jumps (maybe) on that particular canopy... NOPE. Not time to try something new. -
For the parents out there. http://www.orapois.com/br/arquivos/09102003084653755g.swf It is SFW but there is a song, so if you think you'll get in trouble, wait until later. This may be a repost, but I haven't seen it in a long time.

A little old lady is walking down the street, dragging two plastic garbage bags with her, one in each hand. There's a hole in one of the bags, and every once in a while a $20 bill is flying out of it onto the pavement. Noticing this, a policeman stops her...."Ma'am, there are $20 bills falling out of that bag..." "Damn!" says the little old lady....."I'd better go back and see if I can still find some. Thanks for the warning!" "Well, now, not so fast," says the cop. "How did you get all that money?" " Did you steal it?" "Oh, no", says the little old lady. "You see, my back yard backs up to the parking lot of the football stadium. Each time there's a game, a lot of fans come and pee in the ! bushes, right into my flower beds!" "So, I go and stand behind the bushes with a big hedge clipper, and each time someone sticks his little thingie through the bushes, I say: $20 or off it comes!" "Hey, not a bad idea!" laughs the cop. "OK, good luck! By the way, what's in the other bag?" "Well", says the little old lady, "not all of them pay up"....

Like many other teens, I went through my own rebellious stage at one time. Nothing my parents said would make a difference. I thought they were out to make my life as terrible as they could. We didn't talk, we yelled. We didn't do things as a family, except for Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas. That went on for about 3 or 4 years. Looking back now, it was even worse than I thought it was then, because I lost all of that time with them. One day I got home from school and had a letter on my bed from my mom. Basically it said that she and my dad (who are still married - 30 years this year!) loved me very much and would always be there for me no matter what. It was a long 3 or 4 page letter, but that was the jist of it. Maybe you can take the time to hand write (not type it on a computer) a letter to her. Tell her you love her, you know she's growing up and things are changing, you don't know everything that is going on with her and her "old" friend or the "new" ones, you might not have the answers she is looking for, but you will always have a home and a big hug for her. I found that in the hard years of growing up (about 12-18) my parents and I could communicate better through letters than verbally. You can say your part without worrying about her yelling back and vice versa. I honestly believe it has helped me have the wonderful relationship that I have with my parents now. If you don't have the words to write to her, get her a card. Something that says, "Just Because." Something that says, "I'm glad you're my daughter." You'll know it when you see it. Good luck to you.
