  1. I started jumping in 1994 but only have 366 jumps. Not a good ratio... but I have had some slow years. I know this will all change.
  2. Ann I totally agree with you on that one!!! We can get it at the store at Zhills... even in cases!!! WOOHOO!!! I just keep forgetting it's there!!!
  3. I totally understand... I didn't like it on the first, second, third, fourth... tries... but now I am totally hooked...
  4. Oh I see!! I got confused!! Hahaha
  5. Where are you moving to???
  6. I am not asking anyone to post anything in the forums. Does anyone out there have a way to get ahold of Dane? He was my S/L and Tandem jumpmaster as well as my rigger for many years. I would like to get in touch with him again. If you have information, can you please PM me with it?? Edited to add: I found his information online, but is it still accurate? Is he still working at West Tennessee Skydiving?? Thanks!!
  7. I'm at work and can't download realplayer! And it's too cloudy here to see it!
  8. I'll get in on this one. Thank you God for taking such good care of me and loving me like You do.

    Bitch

Gee... that's what my ex used to call me... maybe that's part of why he's an ex now.
  10. We're sending our vibes to him and the whole family.
  11. I used to have a Prestige. It was very comfortable, but somewhat bulky. I let someone borrow it and he had a reserve ride. He threw away the handle and we had to order a new one. They don't make Prestige containers anymore, so my rigger had to call someone (not sure who) and have one made for my rig. It was a hassle. I no longer jump that container (I upgraded to a Javelin) but I still think it's a good container. I got mine really cheap before they quit making them. Most of the comments I ever heard were "What's that?" and "I've never heard of that." To more specifically answer your question, the pro is that it's comfortable. The con is that they don't make them anymore so if you have to replace the handles it may be a headache and take longer to get you back in the air.
  12. Welcome! I don't usually post in here but I had to this time. My mom was diagnosed with MS in 1999. She is 48 and will be 49 next month. She isn't dependent on a motorized wheelchair yet, but we can see it coming. Good luck on your jump and please, keep us all posted and let us know how it goes!!! Blue skies!!
  13. That is exactly what I was trying to say Laurel. Thank you for adding your part to it.
  14. Damn... I thought I missed something! Just kidding!!!!!!!
  15. No he didn't propose. Where would you get that idea??? Am I missing something???
  16. That's exactly it!! I have always felt that way (to spread the love - pay it forward) and now I feel even stronger about it.
  17. Well Chris... thanks, I think.
  18. HAHAHA!! Now I get it!!! HAHAHA!!!
  19. Thanks Chris... I think I needed that.
  20. Thanks... I appreciate it. I only met Roger once, at the Mardi Gras Boogie, but it was enough to know he was a great guy. I'm sorry for your loss... it is more yours than mine since you knew him better... but I still feel it all the same.
  21. Sunshine, will you add one from me in there, too?
  22. Awesome! I know Scott... he probably wouldn't remember me though. Thanks for the info!
  23. A mask?? Damn... I wondered about that but I couldn't tell. Good mask-maker then! Haha! That does make more sense though...
