    yes, i broke my tibia on my right leg. and about the setup, absolutely correct, i set up too close to the bank and was slightly downwind. I was also told about the chow/keep wing over top part. Inexperience on my part only compounded the problems. skymama, truthfully i didn't remember standing up, i think it was more of a tumble. CC, i plan on swooping again, just taking several steps back and working on consistent approaches.

    I haven't been to the smith in many, many years. However, last time i was in DC, my host said they have a new air and space museum out a ways from the city? I would hit that at least a day. Natural history for a half. And some of the others too. Good thing is most are within walking distance of each other. Have fun and take pics.     Walt, they did change that. Used to even the driver could be drinking, just not drunk. Now, NOBODY in the car can be drinking, and no open containers in the car at all.     Hmmm... I just might take you up on that offer. Of course, that would mean you wouldn't be jumping it for a little bit. Think you can handle some down time? Rookie, your Sam is too big!     I couldn't either, my girlfriend bought them The dzo's and lots of the staff got free tickets in exchange for jumps for the crewmembers. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

    Yeah, we went to that one too. Verekai i think it was. And yeah, that jumper guy gave us a backstage tour after the show. It is amazing what all goes on to put on that show. Paige, if he likes drum music, he will especially like this show. It isn't all percussion but that is some of the best parts IMO Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

    Ditto what Miami said. I am by NO MEANS a great vidiot. However, i have learned that the longer you film, the more you will find yourself flying in positions that you didn't know you could do, and not really thinking about how to do it. I had some outside video of me shooting a skysurfer, and i watched that and couldn't believe some of the things i was doing to stay with him and keep him in frame.     Puss! I went back to work the day after breaking my tibia. I was back at work three days (weekend) after having a rod and screws put in it. As for activities, i do what funks says. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

    I took Fireflytx to see this show last night in San Antonio. Very different cirque show. This one focuses more on the live music than on the acrobatics. There are some very impressive performances and the music is absolutely outstanding. However, do not sit on the floor level. You won't be able to see all the antics on stage because you will be sitting below it. We sat 2nd row on the floor and i felt like we were too close to get the overall experience.     You know what, i saw that and suddenly i was reminded of a jump we did up in Penn. I am convinced now that you pushed me and that is why i flailed like a newbie on our jump. Chris, many people who were not there can watch that video and be appalled. Having met you, i thought it was funny as hell and felt quite sure you knew the people in front of you. Would people on this site watch skreamers famous spot/exit video and say how terrible it was that someone "pushed" him? FWIW, i would jump with you and hire you for coaching any day of the week.
