So you make it up in volume then?? Sorry, couldn't resist. Most of us have been there, some of us were lucky, some weren't. We all also got the same advice, some we listened to and some we didn't. We have got to find another way to talk to newbies about this stuff, "don't do it" isn't working. Like Kallend said, age cures testosterone poisioning, getting there is the hard part. Here too! Went to a show again here today and it was packed! One place had a line 14 deep for $200 stripped lowers Other tables were having "sales" they marked down their inflated prices on ebr's Was able to pick up several 30 rnd p-mags for officer tackleberry and myself though. At the shows here in San Antonio, most of the tables at the shows ARE ffl licensed dealers, you have a few who are not. There are also people walking around selling stuff from their "private collection" I don't think gun shows would cease to exist, but it would end the private sale at them. I'll let you hold mine Might even let you shoot it if you let me shoot your 1911 At a gun show last weekend i only saw one stripped lower and it was priced at $180 (RRA) one table had two or three complete lower halves, didn't see a price on them. However, on sunday afternoon, several tables still had AR's sitting, looks like the price on them finally topped out because several people were asking if i was selling the one i had with me but weren't willing to pay the asking price on the others at the show. I saw a couple this weekend at a local gun show. I have heard good things about DPMS in general but nothing specific about the LR308. Looks like it comes stock with the 24" stainless barrel so that should help with the accuracy and i agree with you that you should be able to pick up a Rem700 anytime in the forseeable future. Prices around here seem to be about 3-400 higher than pre election for all ebr's but there still seems to be plenty available. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

So if he had bought a DPMS LR-204 that would be a different story?? I have not shot a .204 but i have read that they are a great varmit round, extremely fast and deadly accurate. Hard to go wrong with a Rem700, i love my 700v in 22-250 And if you do want an evil black rifle, well, they are available in that calibre to. Replying TO you john, not AT you. Does anyone know the exact laws in DC and the metro areas? Maybe they want to know that everyone will be within compliance if/when they get a cabinet position. I am generally about as pro-gun as one can be and i do not see this question being anything out of the ordinary for a presidential cabinet position. I am more than a little familiar with the Ramsey plan, We are debt free except the house and working hard on paying it off as well. And i think you are right about what he meant. Dave thinks that people who offer financing, and/or accept credit cards are encouraging people to incur more debt. Like JP said, cash is king! These bolded statements pretty much sums up why this is a REALLY bad idea, if you continue to rationalize things in this way you are a danger to yourself and others. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

We had a homeowner who couldn't make up his mind, and all decisions had to be approved by an architect, engineer and an interior designer before any work could be done And he couldn't understand why the guys down the street built their house in 10 months when it had been 10 months for his and it wasn't even sheetrocked yet Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
