    Wtf this commercial offends my sensibilities I consider myself a decent cook . I thought that was why you wanted to do it on a reserve that was 20 + years old even though it has no rides. i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response.     Your question is too general in nature. It all depends upon the specific reserve canopy. One would need to know specifically what reserve you are interested in; then we could proceed from that knowledge. JerryBaumchen well I'm talking about a late 80's era square reserve. one of the super raven's i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response.     so I'm just curious if you pack and older reserve. and you pull tested and it passes fine. would it then need to be tested at each and every repack thereafter . or less often once a year ? just curious if there is an accepted standard for how often the pull test needs to be done i have on occasion been accused of pulling low .     I am thinking that you are wrong. I'm not going to chase it down, but I do believe that the FAA put out a letter that stated unless a service life was put forth at the time of original certification ( i,e., issuance of the TSO ) then a mfr cannot legally impose a service life. JerryBaumchen man I'm glad to hear that. I trust my life to a 1988 raven 2 on almost every jump. but hey it's never been deployed. lived it's whole life packed inside a cont. i an't worried one iota

    so I am thinking about setting up an older talon. with at least a 190 main and maybe up to a 230 or so. depending on what i find over the winter. so to lift a good size canopy of me. a big guy with a big for it's day. but not so big now suit. (a raptor. )and needing to be able to go as big as i want in the future a 30" or 32" pilot chute and 9' 10' 12' bridle? and cut. ? or dynamic ? corners.     damn I stand corrected do so the smart ass remark. that I made was actually good advice. but seriously do you think there's much of a performance increase? this guy is maybe loading this 300 at .6 I know a guy in full combat gear with all kinds of ammo would be at a much higher wing loading.
