Hey, if a couple has their wiring crossed and "it's right" for them to live that way then so be it, but don't ever think that the majority of the people in the world will think it's right What makes it "their" wiring that's crossed? and maybe I'm wrong here but at one point didn't "the majority of the people in the world" think the place was flat and not round???

I use a version of it. I'm using digitudes on mine and instead of the clip (fold) you mention in post 3, I had a snap set in the plastic and mud flap. Have close to 700 jumps with them (have two rigs each with it's own altimeter) and no problems. I would not say they are better in every way for all types of skydiving though. As for the the gear bag question you can just remove it at the end of the day although I leave mine on all the time. Things I like about it--- 1. Always on the rig,-one less thing to grab or keep track of. 2. Great location for sit, tracking, under canopy. 3. Digitude has a light for when the sunset load turns into the sunless load. Drawbacks-- 1. Yes it can partially restrict your view of the cutaway handle depending on how you bend the plastic when building it. 2. You pretty much have to build it yourself- not on the store shelf. 3. I don't do crew but think it would be a line snagger if I did, more so because of the shape of the digitude and not the mount itself. If you decide to build one I can give you a few more pointers. 230sqft stratocloud, loaded at .76 so worn out it had about the same porosity as a bedsheet. Came with black and red Wonderhog and a 23' pioneer round that I got to try out when I was thinking about buying the thing. Got the whole setup for $400.
