It's not controversial. I think almost everyone I know would agree that both sexes should be treated equal. Then explain affirmative action based on gender. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

Adobe Flash Security blah blah (I need tech help)
Arvoitus replied to JohnnyMarko's topic in The Bonfire
The best way to block ads is by blocking them in the hosts file or your DNS server (that way it's not browser specific). I do both. My NAS is serving as my DNS server and I wrote a script so that every Sunday, it will download the newest ad block hosts file and basically import it into the DNS server config. Any device that gets its DHCP from my router will get my NAS as it's only DNS server. I also have the hosts file installed in my laptops as well as my iPhone. Well considering that the average Mac users finds a two button mouse confusing I think setting up your own DNS server is out of the question. Your rights end where my feelings begin. -
Adobe Flash Security blah blah (I need tech help)

Its caused by the ads. That server is owned by media mind. Easiest way to get rid of it is probably to block the ads. I dunno how its done with that browser since I've never used it but I trust its modern enough to have it built-in. Your rights end where my feelings begin. -
Yes that is the minimum size defined by the regulations. Although as far as I know all places have at least 300 meters since most places that do tandems do normal student training also, which requires 300 meters. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

If the TV shows and commercials are just silly things then whats with all the whining about skinny women in the ads? Your rights end where my feelings begin.

Its not the malfunctions you need to worry about. Most wingsuiters have more vertical speed when deploying then the average tracker has and they don't have massive amounts of malfunctions. However deploying with a lot of forward speed can give you really rough openings. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

In Finland the area size for student training is defined as: Translation: The recommened object free minimum size for the dropzone in the direction of the prevalent ground wind is 300 meters and 150 meters perpendicularry. For tandems the definition is the same except the distances are 100 meters and 25 meters respectfully. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

Without a doubt humans do influence the planet's ecology, but I am a skeptic that humans are solely responsible for our ever changing climate and I thoroughly believe in evolution. In fact I believe in evolution so much that I have a strong belief that life on this planet will continue to evolve for billions and billions more years up until the point when that great big ball in the sky 93 million miles from us burns up. Only when that great big ball in the sky begins it's path to it's end will life on this planet cease to exist. Yes I believe in evolution. But my question to you is, with your obvious "Climate Change" religious beliefs, why have you given up on evolution? Do you honestly believe live on this planet is about to end? Good grief ... I don't think anyone reasonable is arguing that humans can drive this planet to a point where it can no longer sustain life at all. The worst we could do is get it to a point where it can no longer sustain human life, but after that point, life will eventually prevail and the planet will flourish again. Sucks for us humans but I doubt will be witnessing that in our lifetime. So basically it comes down to whether you want to party hard now and fuck it all up for the future generations or maybe you'd like to leave them some of this stuff too. Okay. Then let's talk about George LeMaitre. You know who he is? He was an ordained priest who was the first to posit the idea of a primeval atom and an expanding universe. Other physicists were outraged by it - because it was a priest who was theorizing about a moment of creation. Meanwhile, the thought was that the universe was static. Some priest talking about a moment of creation? Some "Big Bang," as Fred Hoyle called it? I have little doubt that had LeMaitre not been an abbe, he would have been taken more seriously. And - no doubt - he would be FAR better known. How's that? He had a theory but couldn't prove it which Hubble could, not the first time it has happened that someone else gets credit for something someone else invented first. Also Hubble was an American and Lemaître European. Also Friedmann came up with some of the theories Lemaître later came up with. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

You should fly on airlines that have Internet. That way you can watch http://www.flightradar24.com/ to see the other planes and you don't have to get lucky as you can predict the other planes coming. Much more entertaining flight being able to spot the other planes. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

I kind of see your point but I'm still not buying it. By your definition Michael Phelps is greedy since all he does is eat, sleep and train (he even sleeps in an altitude chamber so he is training while he is sleeping) simply to be the best athlete/swimmer. I don't think what he does is greedy but its a sign of dedication in pursuit of a goal. And even with the dozen of olympics medals you could argue that he has had his fair share and anything more would be just plain greed but I see those medals as a by product of trying to be the best out there. I AM A MAN! And I know what's best for a woman...
Arvoitus replied to shah269's topic in Speakers Corner
A parasite growing inside a woman doesn't change whose body it is whether amoeba, tape worm, or something with the genetic potential for humanity. You can only argue otherwise when you assume ensoulment occurs at the time of conception. Since the First Amendment dictates separation of church and state that can't serve as the basis for laws regarding the matter. I'm an atheist I don't believe in souls. Explain to me then why its okay for women to abort children but not for men. What I mean by men aborting children is that they'd be given the legal right to financially abort the child, no payments to the woman as alimony nor child support for the child. The only solid argument against that is that you can't sign away the child's rights, right to financial support from the parents. Why is it okay for women to violate the child's right to life but it is not okay for the man to violate the child's right to child support? Your rights end where my feelings begin.
