hey patkat, i do. and for me its the color red. I wore a red jumpsuit on my first tandem, a red sweatshirt on my second. a different red sweatshirt on my third. and red underware on my solo. Cant help it. Im not normally supersticious but after i realized the pattern i dont want to stop. I actaully went out looking for a red shirt to wear for my solo cause i didnt want to wear one of the same sweatshirts.. couldnt find it so i had to settle for the red undies. froggie

Sis, from what i understand ( i could be totally wrong) this is how it happens.... stacy is selling something for X amount of dollars. i want the iteam so i bid on it and also put a Max bid on the item... the computer altamatically bids for me if im outbidded,until it reaches my max bid. IF only one person is bidding on that item the computer reads a new higher bid. it then bids higher for you, not aware that you already put in the original higher bid. works out good. everybody needs a little "self motivation." froggie

I cant help it. im so fixated on the whole skydiving thing right now and hes fixated on smoking pot and being a dope. I rode the jump plane down one time.... it was the weekend of Freezefest and I was still desperately scraping pennies to start the student program. Went out to the dz anyway and ended up hopping on the sunset load for a fly along. Awesome flight. Beautiful sunset over jersey/philly. Plane ride down was awesome and the landing..well, a family of deer darted across the runway just before we touched down. It was a memorable flight i know this doesnt really count. but im hoping this is the only time i volunterraly ride the plane down. froggie

aw brad. im sorry to hear that you cant jump. Good luck in school. I know that its a pain in the ass, especially when you would rather be anywhere else, the classes are hard, and youre in danger of failing. Hope all works out for you. Cant you still at least go out to the dz? If its not to far from your house then just swing out there. Go out back, watch a few loads come in. Go inside, start packing your friends rigs :) Youll almost feel like your at home. welcome to these threads. Dont worry about unloading on us, its something we welcome. hehe. So somebody else knows how fun it can be! We use to do that when we lived on a really big patch of land. Oh yeah, another good idea. take that old beaten down, 1940's era tractor sitting in your grandparents back yard and hook THAT up to the back of a truck! Now, you wanna talk about a ride? OH! thank you guys! Im getting a frog tatooed on the top of my foot, sort of climbing up with his tounge rapped around my ankle catching a fly. But you guys inspired me! I think that i might get a frog with a rig on his back, freeflying or something! ah man. the tatoo just got so much more awesome looking! thanks! froggie

Pammi, im with ya chicky. I would love to try waterskiing cause its a surface sport, not supposed to go underwater. But the simple idea of it brings so many self doubts to my brain. Skiing, oh man. those people are brave! I cant imagine doing some rapid downhill dash through trees. For me, the 'feet' are too big. Imagine flipping and trying to do a complete 360? the ski's would get in the way. I prefer to have my fun in different ways. Riding a dead tree downstream in the middle of the woods (it makes a great raft, just as long as the leeches dont bother you :) tying a huge tire to the back of a pickup and riding through the fields. Driving to the middle of nowhere and camping out. Riding ATV's all weekend. Tearing down old barns then using the wood to make forts. I think that i just might be a nature girl :) ah. i would love to try paintball, Xkeys has the equipment to play in the woods surrounding the dz. But my brothers tell me that im too much of a wuss ( i dont see them jumping out of airplanes!) and that i couldnt take the 'hit'. But ill end up doing it sometime soon. It seems really cool and lots of fun. Again, its a in-the-middle-of-the-woods-running-around-like-a-maniac thing though, so naturally id love it :) Good to see ya pammi! i dont post at the same time as you alot. froggie

Only 354 more days until im 21! whens this trip going down? :) geeze. i hate being so close to legal that i can taste it. It would be nice to get into the bar because im 21 not because im... nevermind. what i wear when i go out isnt important. ROFLMAO haha. But seriously, this trip sounds awesome. You know youre a skydiver when... your whuffo friends could go through an entire jump run perfectly, simply based on all the stories you have told them. you know your a skydiver when.... You make more deposits on your account at the dz than at your real bank :) And, you know youre a skydiver when... You have more pics of skydiving in frames/hanging up than anything else.

slowfaller, roflmao. thats just hilarious. In relation to my mailbox the dropzone is on a 120 degree 90 degree angle off to the right. So when im walking out there im often staring behind me :) You know youre a skydiver when...Youve been late to more classes than you can count cause you were staring up at the tiny plane above you trying to figure out what is was, if you could jump it, and its altitude.
