L&B is really good about taking care of us. Shoot them an email and my guess is they will either fix yours or send you a new one.

The ProDytter can be set up in one of two different start up modes. In one of the modes it doesn't beep when you push the mode button. It is really easy to use once you understand the programming. Push the mode button one time and wait for the ready light to flash. If it doesn't flash then there is a problem. If it does come on push the mode button again before the light goes out and hold it. The light will come back on again and that's when you should release the mode button. You are now in access or programming mode. You can now use the mode button to select each of three beep sounds and use the set button to change to the desired altitude. The manual probably describes it better but I'm pretty sure that you won't always hear a beep just because you push the mode button. I hope this helps and not just confuse you more.

Yes. It's a brand name for an audible. It's actually not a brand name. It's a model name from the Larsen and Brusgaard (L&B) brand.

Skydive I35 is at least 2.5 hours further away than San Marcos. Dallas is another hour or so more than that. That info is WAY off on Hillsboro. In fact Hillsboro is North of San Antonio not South as that map on your link shows. -
You must've called the wrong skydive San Marcos. There is nobody named Jeanie that works there and I jump on Fridays on a regular basis.....Like tomorrow. The last time I checked that would be considered a weekday.

Umm adding my $.02 here from experience at San Marcos... ...sometimes, and many times more often than not, if you are the only fun jumper on a load, you have to go out at 10.5K in front of the tandems, but you still have to pay full price. How is that saving money? I've had to do that many a time... Really? I have never had to get out low. In fact this weekend I was the only SPORT jumper on two loads and I go my own pass at 14K.

You could only wish for someone as fun as Voodew. I think Mark burned a lot of bridges up there in the past so there are a LOT of us that really don't care what kind of airplane he has flying. Which reminds me; Why don't you ask him where the Skyvan is?

What does education have to do with anything? I have a very limited education and I make much more than that. I can think of several people that are WAY over educated that make very little in comparison. In fact they are right here on this forum. On another note I can't figure out why Palin's clothing is even brought up as an issue. This amount is paltry in comparison to what each candidate spends in the way of dining. I wonder how much Obama is spending to go back to Hawaii to visit his grandmother? You Obama lovers really have to dig don't you?

Really? Our dropzone never puts more than 20 on board and quite honestly I can't imagine 3 more geared up skydivers even fitting. That's got to be a pretty crammed ride to altitude. Let me guess.....I bet you only do 1 pass as well.

If you think that McCain is the worse candidate then why do you spend all your time attacking Obama? (Will you be voting for an Independant, or just not voting?) Whom I will vote for isn't important. My point in this thread isn't attacking Obama so much as attacking those that use deflection as his defense. Deflection is a tactic used by teenagers when they find themselves in trouble and try to wiggle their way out. It is not appropriate for the defense of the actions of a candidate for President of the US.

It amazes me that you people continue to reference McCain in the defense of Obama. When did I say McCain was stable? This is the problem with you Obama lovers. You know he's a loser so the only way you can defend him is by comparing him to a bigger loser.

It's too bad that he's never been convicted but the facts are there. How can you deny that? I don't mean to say he's a convict. I mean to say he is a crook as in crooked. You know what I mean Bill. He bends the truth and can't be trusted. What about the old man in Hawaii? His name escapes me at the moment but Obama had all references of this man deleted from the audio version of his book. The admitted communist that Obama went to for advice when he was young. You can say that was a long time ago but those are the years where people are shaped. I don't know but this is all too radical for me. I expect there to be some stability in the Presidency and with Obama there are just too many unknowns and loose ends.

Hmmmm??? I don't remember saying anything about McCain. And I certainly NEVER said I support McCain. I went back and looked at my posts and didn't find anything there that suggested such. Remember what you learned when you were young when you ASSume things? Or maybe you never learned? Why can't you defend Obama without using McCain? I know why....it's because you can't. Simply put Obama IS a crook there is no defense.

As did Enrico Fermi and dozens of other Nobel prizewinners. Do you actually have a point or are you just throwing mud for the sake of it? My point is Obama is a crook and he fraternizes with crooks. It should be game over for any consideration for the presidency. Why is that so hard for an educated person such as yourself to understand?

Might as well go for the CASA or SKYVAN!! Anybody know how much these planes cost? I know thats not an easy question to answer. But what would be the difference in cost between a PAC and an OTTER? How 'bout CARAVAN and KING AIR? I know of a PAC 750 that recently sold for about $1 million, or so I was told by the seller. An Otter with dash 27's or the like in decent shape is probably worth about the same.
