So howdya like it? It was a lot of fun, it sniveled for a really long time, I was shifting in the harness like a moflow out of fear of spinning diving line twists, but it opened soft and on heading every time. past a friend under a Diablo 150 in full flight, with my brakes still stowed. Dealing with canopy traffic took more attention and scanning because everything happens so much quicker, landing was great, lotsa low end. Only planned to jump it once, but somebody wanted to try my main, so I jumped it a few more times, did a double front approach, then a 90 front riser and enjoyed the negative recovery arc. It was fun, but I wouldn't want to jump it full time yet. It is my PERCEPTION that it made it easier for me to fly my regular canopy when I went back to it. -- Hook high, flare on time

Had to look at my pilot logbook and my skydiving logbook for this one... I went out to the dropzone December 22nd to fly skydivers so the other pilot could get to skydive more... Well, I guess it seemed like a good plan at the time, but I have had an interest in skydiving for a long time, but never took the effort to make it a reality, so 8 days later I did my first tandem, landed and put the IAF program on my credit card, figuring that would be the most considerable expense... then gear, and now I realize that I will probably never be out of debt from this needle that's been stuck in my arm. Now I don't get to skydive so much as I would like, and I'm not flying as much as I should, but life is good.

Pretty much.. after awhile most of us got tired of posting a 0 for the first number, and began substituting some other accomplishment(?), or, interesting tidbit for the first number.

You shouldn't have too much trouble, I got my tongue pierced in college, and every 2 weeks or so I could upsize just by getting a new barbell. Your hole (the one in your tongue) might have shrank a bit from not having anything in there for a bit, but you shouldn't have any trouble -- Hook high, flare on time

Yeah, standing in my RW suit with booties blew the booties off, made sitting a bit difficult at first, and makes headdown speed control less effective... (for me anyway, YMMV) -
Had to fly the ex-boss up there, and figured I could get some jumps in while waiting. I'm flying up to Hilton Head, SC tomorrow until Sunday and am looking for a place to go.. So far it's looking like Blue Sky Adventures, unless anybody offers up some better ideas
