  1. search yucko the clown on youtube.
  2. at some point he flips it back. If you have the volume on, he even says it. It's in the second part PS: I dont know anything about psycho packing, i just came across this video a bit ago and thought it was a good instructional video on how to do it.
  3. So was the unnecessary altitude check after breakoff, shouldn't have wasted the second or so to verify that I was indeed an idiot (that can wait till after freefall). I got in the habit of looking at my chestmount after that during the track. That ended after I got a full face and had to really bend over to to see it, kept flipping over during the track and couldn't figure out why. Now I just count i dont think an altitude check is ever unnecessary.
  4. Heres a good step by step instruction on how its done. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYb6R8CNqDQ and part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qICN19uaRE
  5. this shuld give some laughs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN1xjrY8Loo
  6. I see. Are the openings extremely hard, or just somewhat quick? And for landings, would i be coming in faster on a falcon or a sabre1? (I ask sabre1 because they seem to be more commonly sold used than sabre2's). And for flaring, once i got it down would the landings be soft or should i expect to do PLF's on most of my landings?
  7. A main is the last piece of the puzzle i need to complete my rig and i saw an add for this canopy for very cheap. I've jumped the sabre2 170 rental (canopy)rig for 53 jumps. I know the falcon is a f1-11 canopy, and am wondering how much different it would be from a sabre2 I weigh about 150 out the door A spectre 150 is also a possibility if the guy ever gets back to me. I dont really know what the differences would be between a 7-cell and a 9-cell canopy
  8. I dont know the story, but heres the vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwDdTvUncwM
  9. Are you saying that just because millions of people believe god exists he has a greater chance of being real? Or since someone who has a high IQ believes in god, it is also true? Also, do you only refer to the christian god as GOD? If we were the product of some higher life form's experiment sent to earth, would you consider them our gods?
  10. I am a doctor, and although your analogy is good for electronic equipment, it does not cross over and explain how the neurological system functions. ... So because it can't be explained, you think it's because of god?
  11. Plagiarized summary: A slightly more precise, but still much simplified, view of the process is that vacuum fluctuations cause a particle-antiparticle pair to appear close to the event horizon of a black hole. One of the pair falls into the black hole whilst the other escapes. In order to preserve total energy, the particle that fell into the black hole must have had a negative energy (with respect to an observer far away from the black hole). By this process, the black hole loses mass, and, to an outside observer, it would appear that the black hole has just emitted a particle. In reality, the process is a quantum tunneling effect, whereby particle-antiparticle pairs will form from the vacuum, and one will tunnel outside the event horizon. Do all the particles that fall into the black hole have negative energy? And if particles with positive energy fall into the black hole, wouldnt the black hole have just as much chance as contantly growing instead of evaporating?
  12. Why be concerned about something you have no control over?
  13. Is there a website that lists when and where his rigigng courses are?
  14. OK, I'm infatuated with a new girl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Udru3Nzd4I&fmt=18 Oh Christy! Don't change a bit! wtf is this shit? http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/kayaus/PicardWtf.jpg
  15. I agree..."Matter can neither be created nor destroyed...." I personally think there have been many cycles of explosion, expansion, contraction, and implosion. Repeat ad infinitum... You're talking about the big crunch right? I really like that idea. I read a lot about the ultimate fate of the cosomo's and one of the things that scares me the most in my life is that the universe will get to a certain point where there will be no life, matter, or anything. I like the idea of the big crunch the most.
  16. I kinda understand that. Ive been reading some things about space and time, and what it has to do with the big bang. Now i'm having a hard time trying to understand that time has not always been constant. All that comes to mind is a video game left on pause until someone presses resume. Which means it would have been already set in motion to be paused in the first place, which brings into play the paradox again.
  17. It didn't all come from nothing. It all came from something. What that something was is still uncertain. Before trying to dismiss the "big bang" theory, you really should familiarize yourself with it. There were no elements before the big bang. im not questioning the big bang, im questioning the origins of the big bang, if that makes sense at all.
  18. Whenever i think about it, if we get to one answer, we ask where that came from, and it's just a constant paradox. To me, it seems illogical for there to be a single starting point in time at all.
  19. are there any theories as to what there was before the big bang? or where the elements came from that made the big bang possible? The idea of god and religion is hard to believe, but i have a hard time believing everything we see here came from nothing.
  20. hire someone to beat them down or somethin, keep the pimp hand strong. http://media.ebaumsworld.com/picture/MOC32/The11thCommandment.png
  21. Those are nice suits. Too nice. I'd like to get much more experience and confidence that i won't biff a landing and ruin a kick ass suit like that :( But since i saw their website, for future reference, they say they will put any design on their suits. Would they put a band logo and names all over the suit?
  22. I'm pretty small and light and have a hard time keeping up with the fat bastards at my DZ when were not linked. I was wondering if a kurupee jumpsuit, made specifically tight, would make me fall faster? Or, for that matter, if i'd fall faster with no jumpsuit at all. And if not, what's a good jumpsuit that's fast?
