Me: Flew load of Flying Elvis' that jumped at midnight into party hosted by President Bush.....outside of Kerrville, TX of all places... Before gearing up we met then Govenor Bush Jr. in the FBO and had a nice chat (Cheesy, I know!) Don't leave me hangin!!!!!

  11. Your dad is correct.......Unpressurized flight (I work at a hypobaric chamber unit), combined with adrenaline, physical and mental exertion etc.....will do the trick. Even if your fit.............
  12. Thanks Rick! I never used a GPS flying jumpers. But, after 10 years at the same DZ, I could spot thru industrial haze, quite easily. Even the smallest snapshot thru heavy haze and I could figure out a pretty much WTF I was, turn in on jump run and adjust for a good spot........... a. Student spotting: 5 right b. Pilot glances at JM: JM mouths 10 left BUCK
  13. Hmmm...let's stalk Cora..........So, where IS the apartment???!!! Seriously, get me out of work tomorrow, and I'll be over..... Buck
  14. Huh, now that you put it that way....dats TWO cases of beer....(What plane you flyin?)
  15. Haven't jumped naked (yet). But I've flown a couple loads naked....does that count??
  16. Did you buy BEER!!!!!???? All the years I flew jumpers, not once was I ramped checked. Yep, the pilots are hijacking this thread.
  17. Angela, that's is some weird sh&*T. Anyways, why Pharmacy??? Do you really wish to basically STAND in one place ALL day? I have pharmacist friends, they no like it that much. You wanna be a brain surgeon, then go and BE A BRAIN SURGEON! Set the goal and go for it. I take it your a very intelligent person and (nothing against pharmacist), but I think the world would be better off if you took the road with the most challenges (ie. surgeon). Plus, if I ever needed a brain surgeon, I could call on YOU!!! (hope I just didn't jinx myself... YIKES!!!) Good luck..... Buck
  18. Katie, if you write your own, you can put in anything you wish! Hey, have you seen my LT over there or did ya'll sell him to some locals for beer money??
  19. Thread hijack! Anyway, i'm sure my numbers are skewed slightly. That's what I get for not keeping a super accurate log..... But some days it was 8 hours in the cockpit, eating lunch in the cockpit (wasn't my DZO nice, the fucker) and after that I just couldn't remember everything...Ha.
  20. you are correct! RETIREMENT! How many years you got left? Or are you staying a full 20? Buck
  21. Yep, I won't miss EPR's, 1206's, Dec's etc.....60 DAYS and a wakeup!
  22. Cool... Wish I would've logged every load of jumpers I flew (plus their names). Been nice to look back on some day. I've got over 2500 hrs of jumper flying, I prob have over 4,000 loads of jumpers flown, I was just being conservative on my estimate..... And that was over a 10 year period BTW.... But, compared to some pilots on this forum, mine is just a drop in the bucket.....
  23. Good one Katie... Think I'll steal a couple bullets from your package! And, writing performance reports is ONE thing I will absolutely NOT miss once I leave the military in two short little months!!! What's the Army call officer evals, OER's or what? AF it's Officer Performance Reports...OPR's..... Well written, go to print! Buck
