  1. Don't worry, Larry is the safest jumper I've ever met...he'll take care of you.
  2. I vote freefall because you can spend a shitload of time in the tunnel, but that doesn't necessarily make it easier. Then you could always do 10k hop and pops to get some canopy time....but that won't help too much with accuracy landing. Both take about equal time.
  3. I'm loling at the guy who said this on the ebay page "Are you f'ing serious??? This is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen. GET A DAMN JOB AND BUY YOUR OWN GEAR!!!! I am ashamed we have people like you in my sport!" Mostly the last part where he said "my sport", I got a real kick out of that.
  4. Everything is expensive once you leave the ground.
  5. someone forgot to cover up the 3 names on the friends list and the woman who made the comment at the bottom
  6. Funny how it has 450hp more than the tesla roadster yet the tesla roadster does 0 to 60 in 3.7 compared to the lighting's 4 flat.
  7. Hahaha the first response "If you do end up soiling yourself, don't be embarrassed or anything. You DID just jump out of an airplane. Most people at the dropzone will understand, the thought of skydiving is scary your first couple of times." Yeah they'll be real sensible until you leave the dropzone...then from there on out as soon as the beer light kicks on "Hey Dave remember that time your tandem pissed himself!!?!"
  8. Ah yeah the 7 1/4 rear end started to go out of my valiant at about 150k miles. Sounds like a nice setup, I had actually intended to do about the same setup to my valiant except an a-727 transmission instead. Just couldn't find any parts for it, after a few years of searching I eventually just sold the 360 block that I bought and all the stuff that went with it. Still love the sound of a mopar smallblock though, they rumble much better than any chevy/ford.
  9. Was that your 3/8 drive 1/2" 12-point socket I found in the road in front of my house yesterday?!? I used to take my 68 Dart out & drive the twisting, winding narrow old farm roads in Burlington, Monmouth, & Ocean counties at speeds that make mere mortals quiver in fear. Now days I put the box blade on the tractor (exhausting in itself) & move stone around on the driveway. Hahahaha! Is my 1/2in drive 12mm 12 point out there too? Can't torque the arp head studs without it! What engine did your dart have? My very first car was a 74 valiant with the trusty old slant six.

    250 Mil

I'd give a lot of it away to my family and friends who I've been close with since elementary school. I could live quite comfortably with "just" 10 million or so. Buy an average sized house, a big garage, and the ultimate set of automotive tools. I'd fix up cars...go to car shows...and basically just do "Nothing." Edit: Oh and the new friends I would make after winning wouldn't get a dime.
  11. Hmm I don't think so, all the big scrapes I've ever had end up looking like that. Put some iodine tincture on it and feel the burn!
  12. Go out and buy the missing wrench/socket...because that's always the root cause of my anger! That or just fix whatever is causing the stress/anger.
  13. Watched it all the way through, good video. It's great when all the magical mysteries of the way we function are unraveled. Everything in this universe can be explained. All I can say to the OP...people come...people go.
  14. Most "performance" chips I've seen just make the engine run pig rich. They're nothing more than a basemap with the fuel/ignition charts ramped up. Get a burnable chip custom made for your application, then take it to a dyno to have it tuned.
  15. of course he was on cocaine, no one can act like that on tv while sober
  16. hey hey hey a vengeance is only for those with mad skillz!
  17. Weren't there some rigs built in the 70's that sported velcro chest straps?
  18. Take a drive through town at midnight, and you'll probably see guys driving vehicles that are equipped with sweepers. If it wasn't for people dropping trash in parking lots, these guys wouldn't be able to earn a living. Next time you see someone drop trash, remember some guy somewhere feeds his family by cleaning it up. As for litter outside of the city, along the freeway etc....prisoners are often given the opportunity to clean it up. This provides them with cash and/or shorter jail terms.
  19. Easy, just lie when they ask for your birthdate.
  20. No you aren't. I rarely ever drink, not for religious reasons but just because I don't like the buzz or whatever. There are other better ways to make yourself dizzy. Anytime someone asks why I don't buy beer, I simply say "I don't drink it, so I don't buy it."
  21. I'm curious...can I have some example reports of those who did EVERYTHING right...but still died. Luck doesn't exist, everything in this universe can be explained.
  22. Standing up, I can slip my rig off my shoulders then slide it down off...but laying down in an arch makes it much more difficult. As long as the rig you're jumping isn't way too big for you, there isn't much to worry about.
  23. Actually you're very wrong. There are records of it happening.
