    I didn't mention it in the interview, but my boss found out some time after hiring me and he thinks its the coolest thing ever. Hes always like dude you could use that to pick up chicks!

    There was an episode of like CSI where this guy was supposeivly totally fearless and he said once opened a parachute with a pin knife at 1200 feet or some bs like that. Yeah let me stab away at my parachute that oughta do the trick! So its fiction, but I guess it wouldn't be as exciting to a whuffo if he was like yeah I started my emergency procedures and the reserve opened cleanly, but I'm a dumbass for waiting so long

    Yeah I watched that video on like the day he posted it. But I don't understand you when you say I don't understand what line twists are. The canopy was flying straight and level at 4000 feet, my decision altitude is 2500 feet. If it would have been spinning like that then I would have chopped it. I was just going by what my instructors taught me. I know its different when your under a forgiving canopy like the navigator verses a smaller high performance canopy. It mostly startled me because well it was the first time it happened to me, and that the canopy streamed for so long (it felt like) then spun up just like you got your shirt caught in a drill bit or something. If I ever get into spinning linetwists with the slider all tangled up in them like that guy had, then I'll chop it after a couple spins or less.

    I've taken my 1990 honda civic to 7200rpm (I was 16 and stupid) when it had 180,000 miles on it, now it has about 200,000 and it still runs good. Probably shouldn't do that anymore but honda's can take a beating. Just put oil in em and they'll last forever and a day.

    Its a 2002 400ex, engine internals are stock but it has a white brothers exhaust. Once suzuki's z400 got popular it pretty much dominated the 400cc class. Honda's are still my favorite though.

    I used to drag race my 4 wheeler at fairs, homecomings, whatever events that they held drag racing. But as the years went on my bike got slower and slower compared to the new bikes coming out today. Eventually my bike shit itself and I never bothered to fix it. Skydiving came shortly after that happened.

    Hahaha yeah I can hear him now...talking to some chick in a bar and being like Yeah that was me on the news....almost went in that day it was crazy! I had my first line twists yesterday after a hop and pop....5 or 6 twists. Kicked out of em easily though.

    I have two Pioneer speakers up front that I think are 5 inches each, then two Roadmaster 6 1/2 inch subwoofers in the back powered by a Road Gear (I think) 80W amp. Bought everything at a bargain outlet for cheap and it really sounds good, makes for a good balance of bass and treble. The CD player I bought from Wal-Mart for $40 bucks, just some no-name brand like durabrand I think. As far as brands go, I think Pioneer is the best for your money, but I'm not an audio guru.

    I wish I would have started skydiving in the summer! I haven't made a jump where its been over 50F yet, mostly its in the 30's or 40's. I usually wear like three shirts, a pair of sweatpants with jeans overtop, and then the jumpsuit. Keeps everything warm except my face and hands since I don't like to wear gloves when I jump.

    Mine were alright with it I guess...that is...until they met the other skydivers! The first jump they thought it was pretty awesome, but when I said that I'm going back to learn how to do it myself....well they weren't real thrilled about that. They just keep trying to get me to go to an accelerated flight school, which I may do because I like to fly but I don't like it enough to spend that much at an accelerated school.

    I would jump a packjob done by a kid. Kids can learn how to do anything really, usually better than most adults I think.

    Damn there are a lot of big words in that article! It looks like one of my old essays where I would use a thesaurus to change simple words in large complex ones. It made me feel smarter.

    I let go of the strut, paused for 3 or 4 seconds, then pulled. I went on my side and saw the pc inflating but I got stable before the main came out. I have a tendency to turn on my left side when I'm on the hill, I've done that on every jump so far, some more than others. Now its hardly noticeable but I still do it.

    I bought this game a little while back, before I started skydiving. Its a fun game to play and I like it, but I don't really take it seriously. Got some cool jump spots though.

    Yeah I waved off at 4000ft instead of 4500ft on the first 15 second. I'm a bad boy . Time flies when your having fun! I also got out at 6500ft on that jump instead of 6000ft.

    Yeah it was, well not counting my tandem atleast. Had a hell of a lot of fun this weekend, got my first 10 second and both 15 second delays on video too.

    Well this weekend was pretty cool. Did two 10 second delays saturday and two 15 second delays sunday. I'm cleared for 30 second delays now. I didn't find it to be all that difficult really, but its still a challenge. Thanks for all the advice!

    Your best bet would be to wait until your 18. Start putting money away now, so when your 18 and you catch the bug like I have you will be able to continue to jump regularly. I wish I had done that, instead of buying cars and motorcycles. Now I am selling all my cars and bikes, and keeping my most fuel efficient car. Losing money in the process. If only I had listened to my parents....
