I believe another mall shooting earlier this year was stopped by exactly that (an off-duty police officer who carried his weapon into the mall, despite the fact that it was posted as being "gun-free"). When will people realize that bullets are far more effective at stopping violent criminals than "No-Gun" signs? and what would be even more effective would be for people to not be able to get hold of guns in the first place...... How do you make 100 million guns disappear? Do you think that just because a law is passed banning them that they'll just go away and criminals won't be able to get them? There is no way to prevent criminals from getting guns. Concealed carry by law-abiding citizens is an effective method for stopping them when they try to use them however. If you want to do crazy stuff, there is ALWAYS a way to get a gun. Just look at some european countries that have them more or less banned/controlled. There may be less shootings (less crazy people), but they still occur. It´s the same with prostitution, you can´t fight the sympton, there will always be hookers/weapons. You have to educate people to stay away from it, that´s the only way!

People buckle to fast before the rugheads. Why is it ok for islamics to shittalk about christians and jesus, but as soon as someone makes a joke or unintentionally mentiones something in relation to islam that they don`t like, there is a big uproar...something is wrong with that picture. Those guys need to be more tolerant. I just remember the story when the danish newspaper published satiric pictures about mohammed... too bad they backed down and even apologized... They should have published some more... screw them if they don´t like it, everybody can have is own opinion and tast....

You are right on the money Bill. We are a society that thinks guns are a good idea, when in reality they are not. Guns are treated like another household item here. No wonder people are so eager to use them. Yeah but if guns are a bad idea, then why aren´t there as many shootings in Canada as in the US? They got alot more guns per headcount.. This society is producing more mentally unstable people then other societies, that´s the reason. It has nothing to do with guns, more with a lack of education when ppl grow up here. Another fact that backs this up, is that most of the maniacs running around and shooting people are from dysfunctional families.

You almost sound like my math professor at the university. He once tried to convince a course of the beauty of calculating with the duodecimalsystem or the hexadecimalsystem. Half of the course fell asleep (literally!) after an hour... He has a passion for math I never could understand, for me it was just a course I have to pass on my way to my engineering degree.

How common is it for students, that they need to repeat a level? I kinda screwed up my diveflow on IAF4 and instructor pulled for me.. Canopy flight/landing was good (landing on feet without problem). But it was obviously a fail (knew that even befor instr. told me). Am I just being too clumsy with stabilizing? Was pretty anxious too and mixed up the order of the diveflow. That normal beginner problems, or am I the exception to the rule that needs longer then other students?

You can always do the (less painful) Marine thing- they wear garters under their dress uni's that connect their shirttails to their socks. Works good, no drywall screws or bleeding all over the place... Marines wear garter belts? Hm... interesting :D
