    Well i personally like the idea of having universal health care. I personally dont have health care and would appreciate it if my government would use some of my tax dollars to provide health care when i need it and not to some overseas interest. Call me conceded but I would think that our tax dollars would be better used to help our people and not be policing the world or helping the world. We are heading for a good recession right now and we are spending absurd amounts of money to fight a pointless war and have our soldiers die?

    Just wanted to know what people thought about their children skydiving, granted they are old enough. It is a relatively safe sport but still not without its mishaps, would you be accepting of your child's hobby? My mom is definitely a whuffo and would never jump, but she seems fully supportive of me jumping. Just wanted to know what people in the sport thought about this

    well realistically concerning the bathroom hand cleaning discussion. Unless you use a paper towel or perhaps shirt sleeve to open the door, it completely defeats the purpose of washing hands. Some moron touches his dick and then proceeds to touch the door handle it is now contaminated. So despite me washing my hands I now have his dick germs on my hands. DISGUSTING but if one person doesn't do it, it screws up the process for everyone. I for one shower daily and wash my hands before and after using the toilet. This way you avoid getting grease and germs on your frank and beans and then don't spread whatever natural bacteria may be on there to other places.

    What makes a rig freefly capable? would a mirage G3 be freefly friendly for instance?

    It does note that its a collectible but I dont think you could pay me enough to jump that antique over priced ugly piece of crap my DOM 1992 sabre 170 is going to be scary enough to jump. At least my mirage G3 is from 98 and i paid 1500 for that combo with the reserve. Why would i pay 300 less for that junk? Id rather go with, SHOULD work than MIGHT work

    jeezes even i was finishing high school before things got serious, like that girl getting detention for giving a hug or the boy being expelled for making out on a bus.     seems kind of unfair to me when i only weigh 125lbs, i couldnt carry enough crap to make up for the weight difference of the fat bastard in the seat next to me. Why should i have to pay for extra luggage. Should i pay less for my seat since im not as heavy? there by reducing the planes take off weight and fuel consumption

    Deep breath and jump just relax, after all this is supposed to be fun right? albeit expensive but fun.

    on a NAV 200 weighing it at 125 I could do standup landings from the start with only 2 PLFs out of 11 successful landings, my accuracy has also become descent but not great, which i think has most to do with carrying the parachute a couple hundred yards a few times. I tend to land short of my target now.

    Doesnt sound like a bad deal i bought my rig for 1500 for a mirage M3 G4 DOM 98, with a pd 160 also purchased a sabre 170 DOM 92 for 500 then bought a brand new cypres from my DZ. So altogether with repack and fixing a few small things it was around 3k while my gear is slightly order, (not knowing how many jumps yours has) my cypres is good for a LONG time

    First AFP jump i did with one instructor who also taught the ground school was a heavy guy and it could have been my lack of skill but it seemed almost like he was dragging me down because of his fall rate. It did however, teach me how to arch myself in half

    Kind of been putting off a jump also since my 14th jump entailed minor line twists, still scary and definitely reminds you of the risks. Just bought gear too so im waiting for my rigger to get that squared away with cypres and what not. Still kinda more scared for the next jump though between new gear and the twists on the last jump Its normal

    I believe there is a place called dancing on air or dancing in the sky or something. that is the balloon pilot that I spoke too unfortunately dont remember exactly what his company was called. There is also of course the balloon festival at solberg airport in NJ every august...

    Well had a question. Are you REQUIRED a minimum number of jumps to do balloon jumps? and also, from the pilot I have spoken to who has dropped jumpers from his balloon, said that they are capable of 6k to 7k feet

    Yea same problem here being 5'8" and 125lbs on a good day. I picked up a mirage and sabre I 170 still need a cypres though and will be good to go, i also promised myself to hit 100 jumps this year and hopefully get up to my C license, we shall see only 86 more to go

    Just got it today it looks good still pretty slick for being "OLD" as some people say. Time to jump it on monday hope all goes well! Ill report back if it cracks my nuts It was 500 bucks but only has a few 100 jumps on it Maybe cause someone was tired of getting their balls busted

    I am definitely a happy drunk but the clothes tend to come off if i drink too much rum or tequilla, not so much with vodka. I think it mostly depends on your emotional state to begin with or your general demeanor(sp)

    ehh despite feeling like I have no control over my life it is otherwise fantastic. just want to make another 86 jumps and hopefully get my C license this year want to sell both cars and get something practical, and maybe a motorcycle

    It has less than 500 jumps on it supposedly and has 1 patch that is 3x3 inches on it. I kind of just need it to transition to a 150 then a 135 I only weigh 125 so I will out grow that pretty quick. I just figured it was a conservative downsize from the 200's and 210's that I have been jumping.
