  1. Agreed. And how long as it been, how many years have dogs been domesticated, to think they aren't equipped to survive successfully on a diet that consists of both rice, veggies and salmon? Your said dog, if left to his/her own devices, likely would not be "hunting" and eating meat, but rumaging through nasty garbage piles. The fact is I agree, and have since my first response that I do NOT feel my animals should be vegan or even vegetarian. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  2. Agreed almost 100%. However, I stand by my original "part of the time" statement. I go through periods of time where I am strictly vegan--longer periods than said day, week or month. Thus, "part of the time" applies and can be used, decidedly.
  3. I edited and added. No mistake to admit was made. You logic is preposterous. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  4. I also eat the foods on my plate one thing at a time... Does that turn you on? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  5. I never claimed to be. For a long time I was strictly vegan. By your logic, however, once I had my first bite of meat after 5 years I can no longer say I was ever vegan or vegan "part of the time" as I previously stated. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  6. I'm so disappointed in your categorical limitations. Not everyone fits into such boxes so easily. I never eat pig---haven't since I was 11. I eat steak maybe twice/year. I have chicken maybe once every other month. I eat only wild-caught fish. 80% of my diet is soy/vegan based. That definitely puts me in a different category than your average sausage & egg breakfast, burger lunch and steak dinner people. I have no name-brand store products in my house---all household products are animal-friendly. I could go on... Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  7. It could be correct...but I edited my chosen use of carnivore. This, however, I disagree with: Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  8. I'm double-jointed in most areas. I would have made an excellent popper/locker. Obviously I missed my calling. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  9. Of course it does. Check the battery on your hat, Captain Aluminum. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  10. I don't have one handy, but next time I'll give it a go... Although, I've been trying to whistle for years and still no success. Billy finds this hilarious. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  11. Some vegans are such b/c they believe we should not eat meat at all. That is not why I eat vegan a lot of the time. Virgins! Have to explain everything to them... Edit: OK, I can see where you're confused... The statement can be ambiguous. I only love ambiguity when one meaning is dirty. I shall think of another way to word it... 12. I shall add that to my "can do" list, as well. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    Leftovers?

I like it same day, but after it's been sitting out a while. Just mix it together, silly, and enjoy. It's still WAY better cold, imo. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

    Leftovers?

I LOVE leftovers. I almost prefer them. I much prefer cold foods than hot. And mac and cheese cold is soooo good with the cheese all stuck to the mac...Mmmmmmm. I won't eat leftover sushi or mashed potatoes. Both must be fresh or not at all for me.
  15. It's still a sexy trick though, and it annoys me when I can not do something I fully intend to do. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  16. Some do. I do not. I believe in the food chain, naturally, but eat vegan a lot of the time for other reasons. Thus, imo, it would be wrong of me to force my animals to also "take a stand" with me. But, they definitely don't get as many animal products as others' pets. My cats' food is all wild caught seafood. My dog's food is is mostly vegetables & rice, but has salmon. Our bagel shop gives him ham all the time as a treat and he gets milkbone biscuits from others. From us he gets peanut butter treats and he loves soy cheese (soy is actually used in a lot of pet foods).
  17. Billy can. Thus far, I can not. Other things I can not do: Whistle Wiggle Ears Things that make up for the above: Double-jointed Bootie shake Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  18. I like it. I don't do it in the heat of the summer---the yard that is. But, I still prune plants, etc. I LOVE gardening and getting dirty.

    BITE ME!

  20. He was quoting me in that statement, pops. Though I do not know peanut, after reading his posts, my perception is he's lazy--too lazy to hit the quote button and make replies a helluva lot easier to understand. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
  21. I think I know what you're referring to, the inner core. Otherwise, I would disagree. Skymama can tell you, though I'm still a good person and my core values and morals haven't waivered, I've changed a lot of my views and opinions as the years have gone by. One should never stop learning and keeping an open mind, even if you're steadfast in your opinion. It's still important to hear all sides, all the facts and consider them over and over, especially as new information comes in to play, which it inevitably always does. And there's truths and what is true and what we're told, even through legitimate sources and public records. I for one, am always changing.
