Well, maybe since you used three exclamation points. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Hey, that's how much my recent ticket was, too. I think I was doing 86 in a 70 though. Same point spread. I love ya mama, but sounds like your daughter deserved it and should swallow it as a lesson learned. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I enjoy those who dare to go outside the box. Boxes suck.

Boy, you just don't know me at all. It's ALL important. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I thought it was fantastic.

OK, so I watched this silly show for the first time last night and here is my review: The first "Supernova" song with the one guy as the lead singer bored me; as did follow up performances by the guy who did the encore, and the first two in the bottom three; Storm and Ryan (and I can't help but think if "Ryan Star" is his real name he most definitely should have changed it like most rockers do. And if that is, in fact, his rocker name I'm wondering why he didn't try out for American Idol instead of a show with "Rock Star" right in the title..) Not that they didn't have nice voices; but I've heard it, seen it, been there & bought the T-shirt. Then came Dilana. The confused look on the Supernova judges' faces was hilarious. I could tell they were unsure of that performance. But, I could care less; I LOVED it! It was different. There was room for improvement, sure, but her voice rocked and her style was fantastic. I liked that I was a little scared of her during that performance. Talent? Sure, they all have talent. But the goal is to be entertained. And I just wasn't except for Dilana's "questionable" performance. And something about Storm made Billy and I laugh every time she appeared on screen. She kept grabbing her crotch and throwing her hands out like "Yo. Yo. Yo. What up!". Her act was silly. And that Ryan guy climbing on top of the speakers? Could he have been any more careful and unrockery about it? It was like a suit trying to live out his childhood fantasy of being a rock star. I won't be watching again, but I'll root for Dilana to win. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

OK, I frankly don't know what the hell "plasma" really amounts to. But, I don't buy such things which are not considered investments lightly. Thus, when I do I buy the best there is (at the best/most competitive price) at the moment and go another 10 years or whatever until that one breaks before going at it again. Thus, plasma, HD, Flat-panel, HUGE, whatever is all essential in my next purchase. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

You look like a And you smell like one, too. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (Hopefully everyone's heard that version., before I look silly.) Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

All I said, w/out agreeing or disagreeing with you, is that if it's legal for a parent to sign a waiver and make a decision, then it's up to the parent and not popular/unpopular opinion. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I made no such comparison (you either misunderstood, or I did not effectively make my point). What you're talking about is a piece of paper; whereas a lot of situations, equally as dangerous, do not require such. And again, it's a piece of paper; which is not the bigger picture. You are playing defense. But, I'm not playing offense. I don't disagree with your not wishing to ever sign a waiver for you children.

It's really not all that different (though I fully respect your viewpoint and actions b/c of it). A LOT of things can kill. Money is what matters most to many people (and I'm not saying I agree). But, the bottom line is waiver or not, kids can pretty much find a way to do whatever they want if they have the will. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

To each their own. I think back to the things I was allowed to do at a very, very, did I say "VERY", young age b/c my parents', at the time, would rather trust me than inconvenience themselves---but they did instill a solid foundation in me and I did turn out to be very trustworthy and mature for my age. This thread is silly b/c none of us know said niece. I might as well post a pizza thread like Krisanne did that one time (I loved that!). What the hell difference does it make to us? Only the original poster and the niece's fam really know & understand the right decision in this case.

We have a perfectly good big screen TV. But alas, it is not flat screen. And it is not plasma or HD. And we were recently told our TV uses a LOT of electricity; much more so than the newer flat screen, high-definition TV's do. Thus...I'm afriad I'm on the verge of coming home with the exact same thing. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Why yes, I believe it is. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Um, hello? Everyone knows Costco is where it's at. And it's a little funny you have a BJ card. OK, OK...enough teasing...I only tease the ones I love... Actually I tease everyone...but I tease the ones I love the most. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Ugh. Oh. Now you've done it. He's going to get all "show-me-some-examples" on your ass. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Dude, like, wouldn't that be considered like a federal offense? Like, you know, screaming "Fire" in a crowded building; except in this case pulling an actual fire alarm? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Yowza, you're a trusty one; and trusting "legal beagles", too. Yes, I stand corrected. All will be well then. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

It would seem if I have nothing to hide, the government shouldn't be interested in my DNA anyways. I love these kinds of debates: "If you love me, you will." "If you love me, you'll wait." Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

My new 'puter is faaaaast. I like to go fast.

I am most definitely not immune. However, in my country (USA) I have the luxury of having access to your timeline of info. I'm certain I didn't assume anything.

Egg-cellent addition.
