I started to go to the forums after the phone one, but then saw they all said "hints" and I didn't want to cheat/find the answer. I just edited, by the way. I figured out #12 and I'm not pleased. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Has anyone gotten #12??? Edit That's just not right. The directions said nothing about having to do what I just did to finally get the answer to #12. And some people might not have the program to do so on their computers. I was having fun until then. If they wanted you to have to do that, they should have said "It might help to keep another web broswer open for your favorite search engine, or you might have to utlize other applications" Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Get out! I'm such a blonde sometimes. I just realized there were hints on the top bar of my browser on each level. For example: Level 10 that has been confusing the hell out me says: "7/4 8/2..." and so on. What an idiot! Duh....Level 11, here I come.
-
Shoot. Now I'm stuck on Level 10. I mean what the hell do I do w/ a picture of a phone? It did say keep another browser open to help you, but...? I get that #s on a phone coorespond with letters but....I don't have a clue. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

These are like Brain Teasers. I loved those in the Sunday paper. You know like: gseg = "Scrambled Eggs" Anywho, took me forever to get to the game. I knew right away where to look for the game b/c of the last clue saying "in the dark" but I was looking for my curser to turn to a hand (like it does when it rolls over a link) instead of the arrow. It never did. Finnnnnaaaaalllly, [edit to not give away answer] Geez! The first levels were pretty easy---until #9. I've been stuck on #9 for five minutes now... I like you. You predict wrong, SunnyD. It's funny. I was very much interested in hybrids; any kind, including SUVs. I won't even begin the discussion as to why I opted against buying one... Perhaps in the distant future, I'll consider a hybrid again. But, I did book a Prius rental for my upcoming trip to San Diego--wouldn't want to be caught dead driving an SUV in California. That's right--I'll be posing. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

It was, and I insist you ride in it with me on a LOOONG trip to your funeral. At least you'll die happy. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I was the only one who stated she drives/likes the Sequoia so... Yup! Definitely about me. Funny, I looked all over for a hybrid SUV, but you have to be a millionaire to buy one of the few available on the market.

Yowza. Yes, you have me pegged. I'm a rich mother of six who could care less about the environment. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Yes, most definitely a straight up against the wall "Agree to disagree" scenario. I mean, I drove EVERY SUV and can't imagine how you could even think/say that. Billy LOOOOOOVES driving it, too. It was definitely the ease of the drive that I fell in love with most. SO easy to maneuver. SO smooth. SOOOO happy.
-
Not in mine. Yes, it was a pain in the ass to remove; but watching all the boys come out of their houses to check out my new ride and help Billy try to figure out how to remove it (w/out checking the owner's manual first, of course) was SO worth it. I agree that if you needed it, it'd be a hassle. I plastic'd mine up (for possible trade/resale whatever down the road) and stored them in the attic. I have no need for the third row. The extra room is/has been a BIG plus.

Yep, drove a Honda Pilot. Nice. Nothing really loved or disliked about it. I definitely would have considered it. Problem is new ones with what I wanted were more than I wanted to spend (and didn't love it enough to consider spending) and pre-owned ones in crap condition. I'm also VERY big on cup-holders. Seems silly, but on road trips I always have water & a latte and if I've got passengers, they usually have drinks as well. I don't like cup holders that, when a cup is in them, blocks any of my controls. I also don't want to have to reach WAY down for my cup (like in the Lexus RX & Chevy Equinox). You might think it sounds ridiculous, but whatever---I'm a girl who likes good cup-holders & placement. The Sequoia, by far, drove the nicest/smoothest out of any SUV I drove & was equally if not even easier to manuever than other SUVs. I'm not the best at parking, but I can parrallel the hell out of my Sequoia. She's very responsive. I also loved the comfort factor. Every other month I make a 10-hour round trip to my corporate office and the drive, in my Sunfire, was KILLING me. While I sat in many comfortable vehicles, I felt the Sequoia was most comfortable for me; she's definitely proven to be so on the trips I've taken in her since. I wasn't partial to Toyota but became partial to them in my process. Everyone I talked to at every dealership LOVED their Toyota; drove their Toyota into the ground; never had a problem with their Toyota; wished they'd never traded in their Toyota. Toyota has excellent history of these claims, as well. I'm lucky i don't have to worry about cost of maintenance, so cost of that didn't factor in for me. I have a very good family friend that owns a very awesome shop and can fix/maintain anything. He's maintenanced every car I've ever owned from beginning to trade for free, including parts but thankfully I've never needed anything more than a replacement belt. But, sundevil....the Highlander??? I HATED the Highlander. 'Nuff said. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I was just teasing you. But, for the sake of conversation: I test drove one. GREAT car! Weren't any pre-owned ones available that fit my requirements (mileage, condition, price, etc.). Having said that: Having recently (beginning of this year) just driven about everything on the market (quite seriously I test drove 1-4 cars just about every day for three months), my desires changed. I went from wanting a sporty car & manual, to buying a luxury, automatic SUV. I don't have kids, but my girl (who I named "Big Lola" since my previous little Sunfire was just named "Lola") came with third row seating, for goodness sakes. It worked out wonderfully, though, as I removed the third row seating which created massive room for "stuff" when traveling, but more importantly is a FANTASTIC area for Cruzer--we stuck a piece of soft, fluffy carpet back there & toys for him. Cruz can stick his head out the back window that rolls down, too. It's the perfect kennel on wheels! It was the funniest thing...I was actually looking at the new FXs when there in the pre-owned lot at the Infiniti dealership was Big Lola. She was beautiful. And so I sat in her, took her for a drive and was sold. But I didn't buy her until six weeks later. And of course I looked at all the Toyota dealerships at pre-owned Sequoias to compare. Big Lola took the cake. She had all the goodies; goodies I didn't much care about until I drove her and fell in love. So....I can safely say, though it's good to have an idea of what you want/need, etc., it is DEFINITELY open to change when you're actually out looking. But, my main requirements (mileage, condition & price) were all pretty much met. She had about 2k more miles on her than I wanted, and I spent about $2k more than I wanted. But, her condition was impecable (and she even had all her maintenance records and was still under warranty.) And I'm SOOOO happy with what I got (and sooooo thankful I didn't buy the H3 which was another car I was considering. I do NOT know what I was thinking on that one.) Billy loved the Murano. I didn't. I didn't notice much limitation in the visibility, though, in the FX. But, I don't see all that well anyways. Juuuust kidding. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Happy Birthday!

I voted.

That's why they LOST us (he he) after the first season. Too many recaps and long breaks and shmack. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

You didn't add what car you'd love and/or recommend in the "sporty & roomy" category. A Schwinn w/ a basket, perhaps? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

You know I was never a "car person" until I started shopping for my new car. I generally think spending too much on a car is a waste of money. But, I still bought a Sequoia and I absolutely LOVE it! Money well spent! It was pre-owned, but low mileage and excellent condition; and I held out until the end of their sales quarter to get the best deal.... But, in my shopping I test drove just about everything on the market from run-of-the-mill to high-end luxury, just to check everything out, learn more about "What the hell makes the 500 so much freaking better and 100 times more expensive than the 235, etc." Like Krisanne said, though: I discovered a lot of the higher-end vehicles were available almost identically in another make, but for $20k+ less w/out the name. But, I haven't found any car like the FX45. There's a guy who drives one, too, that gets breakfast the same time as us every morning and I stare at his car the whole time I'm waiting. I swear I'm not that girl who goes for the car...but you have to admit, it's a hot ride. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Yuck. I can't stand Porches.

But, I thought it was just an honor to be nominated

Ooo, I didn't get it. I thought you meant she literally made the statement "Losing to Carrie Underwood is a joke." -
Too rich for my blood, but fits the "sporty & roomy" category. Infiniti FX45 AWD.

I heard the same about blondes in Italy.

I have no idea. I haven't missed an episode, but I don't know what # we're on. I didn't watch the second season. I watched the recap episode before Season Three began, and seems that was enough to catch me up. So, I can only imagine how boring it might have been drug out. I LOVED Season One and I was excited for Season Three. This week's episode will be the 3rd one---the 3rd one from when I said "OK, if I'm still pissed after three more episodes, then I'm outie. I'll catch the last page of this novel when it finally ends." Sooooooo....we shall see. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
