It released on DVD on the 15th and Netflix shipped it to me that same day. We're watching it for the first time tonight. I'm so excited! I hope it's good. I've been so nonchalant about every movie lately. The last movie I saw and thought "so refreshing & wonderful" was "Little Miss Sunshine." We just saw "Maria Full of Grace" and I thought that was good, but...like everything else I rated it three of five stars. I have very few four and only two five stars, I think. So, hopefully Pan's will warrant at least a four.

Egggggg salad! That, and raiding your parent's liquor hutch and pouring water back in it thinking they wouldn't notice. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I'm sorry. I pretty much stick to red wine, champagne & on not often occassion vodka or So Co. I rarely, if ever, drink anything else. NOT into shooters & shots. I might do one here and there if it's an occassion. But, I have my tricks for not actually drinking what's been "ordered for me". Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I haven't tried it, but a while ago I tried like hell to find the radio commercial online to post to no success. The commercials on their actual website are not the same as the radio commercials--which are SO hilarious! "I come from Boston . Was raised in Montana. We build roller coasters." I LOVE those commercials. The two guys whose "server" went down? SO funny. Not super-funny. But, funny. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

(Did a quick search, don't think this is a repost.) Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

You guessed it! In the package it looks so innocent! The thing is a compact rock that makes the loudest noise when Cruz drops it on the tile. But, that's not where the pain comes in to play. Now that it's significantly chewed, and always placed in a main walkway in random spots, both Billy and I have suffered many lacerations to the foot. Cruz has three nylabones. He loves them all and likes to take turns chewing on each, then leaves them all spread out just so, so there is no way to miss one if you're not looking. The Galileo is the WORST offender. A forever stamp is a stamp that holds the current rate value, regardless of what you initially paid for it. I.e. if you paid .39 cents for it and the rate increases to .41 cents, you can still use the stamp and not have to add the annoying (as in my attachment) .01 cent stamp add-on's to mail a letter. It's a great idea. But, I think every stamp should be a "forever, but just for a year or whatever" stamp. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Nope, we have another name for that. It's far too early to give hints; so I'll give a good, but vague one: To those who love such things as I do, this should be an easy one to figure out. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

The thing has caused me much pain. Brownie Points to whomever knows what I'm talking about. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

I mail a ton of stuff all the time. And I LOVE cards. And I'm SO pissed at the horrible selection lately. I fucking hate E-cards. I'm not at all the traditonal-type, either. But, I was raised to send a card on occassions, & for thank-you's. I'm the ONLY one I know who does. My best friend sends thank-you's.

I had already sent some out, too, with the old stamps on them. They took them. We'll see if I get them back. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Oh, and... Yes, I know there’s a forever stamp, but I get my stamps .25 cents cheaper for 100 at Costco, and they come in a roll instead of five freaking flat-packs like at the grocery store, and the post office is a few miles away in a direction I never go, and I’d rather just get mine .25 cents cheaper at Costco when I go once/month. EVERY STAMP SHOULD BE A FOREVER STAMP! And guess who just bought a new roll of 100 .39 cent stamps??? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Since you asked... I used to be ambidextrous, but my mom made me choose and suggested I choose right. She's a royal free spirit, but a Republican. Funny, how I'm quite the same way in all my peculiarity. My dentist said to alternate sides to chew. My mom said chew on both equally at the same time and to chew thoroughly, at least 20 chews before swallowing. I didn't follow the 20 chews rule, but figured listening at 50% would be sufficient and thus, I try to chew on both sides evenly, though I prefer to swish it around from side to side evenly instead. Having said all that, I voted alchie. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Have I told you lately, that I like you? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

You've got to be kidding, if that's what you got from what I said. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

You got me there. For me, when you see the math before you on your paystub, look just a little bit into where 1/2 your money is going, you can choose one of two things: Laugh or Cry. I laugh. Ha! Ha! Ha! Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Frankly, I haven't put much thought into it. I've already decided if I were president, everything would be awesome. But, to actually want to be president, one must be insane. I'm a little crazy, but not that crazy. So I research the issues before I vote and vote according to my opinion on the issues. My only opinion in response to the e-mail being circulating, is also why it's so funny. If someone doesn't have the money for basic food, clothing & housing, how is it they have the money for weed? Weed. Drugs. They're all expensive to most people, and especially to someone qualifying for welfare. Does no-one else see the humor in this??? The fact is, it's funny b/c it's true often enough that it's funny. Like many/most stereotypes, it has its roots in truth. There is a large enough percentage of welfare-recipients whom would fail a drug test, that it makes many wonder. And it makes the e-mail funny. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

The original post is funny (at least to me). I laughed the first time I read it and laughed again when I saw the thread title. Some guy wrote in to a newspaper, the newspaper published it, many thought it was funny, and laughed enough that someone put it in an e-mail to circulate. It circulated, not b/c it had a "send this to 10 people, or else" warning but b/c it's funny. It's not an urban legend. It's not seriously on a party platform. It's just funny.

I was making a generalization. I'm not anti-the-welfare-recipient. I remember the first time (and only time) I was in line behind a woman paying for her groceries with food stamps. I had never seen this before and didn't at first know why the cashier was checking a list and took the woman's Frosted Flakes. I quickly had an idea of why, however, and just told the cashier they looked delicious and to put them on my tab. I didn't consider it an act of charity. I didn't think I was being a fine samaritan. From one woman to another (and she was obviously pregnant), I understand a craving. I used to love Frosted Flakes! Yes, they were a luxury--but QUITE a different one, imo, and I ELECTED to purchase them for the woman. What I was referring to was a welfare-eligible individual who spends what little money they DO have on weed instead of their "basic food, clothing, housing" and/or future to be off welfare.
