    I feel the same way, when writing the current homepage article I tried my best to find information on Graham but everyone was just focusing on Dean and it was difficult to get relevant information because of it. If someone who knew him personally has some background information on him that could be added to it, I would be happy to do so if they can PM me.

    Will take a look into adding that (may be a bit more work). In the meantime, I've changed it so that writing a message from an account which has PMs turned off will display a warning.

    Hrmmm... There are pros and cons to this. If the worry is that someone may have forgotten that they have PMs turned off. I would prefer to go the route of adding a notification warning when they draft a message to say that they won't be able to receive a response. That way we won't prevent users who perhaps want to send a helpful PM to someone as a once off from being able to do that, while still dealing with the problem.

    Unfortunately not. The flag that you see pulled through is a direct replacement for the location where the person lives. Originally we had their location in text, but then changed it to just display that flag. So that's the only way one can really get it changed.

    Hey, I think I know what's going on here. It looks like both those selection fields are using the same database field maybe. I'll take a further look to confirm and make the needed changes.

    Alright, we've taken a look and everything seems to be fine. When you say 'some' people are not seeing posts and threads, do you have usernames for these people that could help us investigate more? Promise5 messaged me with the problem and we ran tests through her username and the thread displayed fine, and hinted at it maybe being a browser issue on her side. Though that idea would change if there are other users also having the problem.

    Thanks for your feedback. We do try and cater for those examples, while still wanting to ensure that one isn't able to put something out there, then have it become the center of discussion, only for them to realize they were wrong and want to remove it - which would also often remove the value of the discussion. We allow the editing of posts for a period after submitting them, before they are replied to by others. This is for people who may have noticed a typo or made a formating error. For a long time we've wanted people to be accountable for what they post and to think carefully before hitting enter. And allowing full editing options would be counter-productive in achieving that :) It may be something we re-examine in future, but I don't think you'll see any changes in the immediate future.
