1. Can you please link me to the ad in question so I can check out the problem. Thanks

3. Hi, Apologies for the belayed reply, completely missed this post while running through the support. There is no formatting available in the classifieds, and we have a policy restricting the use of HTML in ads. The purpose being that it becomes far too easy to abuse. The description of an item was never intended to be something of length, ideally between 20 and 100 words. Explaining the basics of the item. Any in depth description of the product, would then be expected to take place between the buyer and seller privately. We can appreciate the desire to get information up front for buyers, but your ad has a total of more than 500 words (over 3000 characters). Making it longer than the average online content article. I have removed your comments as you requested. We are working on a new classifieds system that would allow formatting, but for now you'd need to cater your descriptions to the idea that it is meant as a small summary area for the item.
4. Thanks for the comment, we're always looking at ways in which we can help provide more helpful services and suggestions are always welcome. At this current point, posting of suggestions is something we promote and encourage. Users are currently able to make such posts in whichever section their comment pertains to. For example, a suggestion on a Rigging subject could be posted to the Gear and Rigging section, otherwise a suggestion on a wingsuit related topic could be posted in the wingsuiting area. It may be confusing to have 2 sections with the same intent; unless I am missing a key part of what you're suggesting :)
5. Can't believe I am only seeing this now. Was wondering why I hadn't seen him posting recently, then saw the title of this thread. He definitely brought life to these forums and we'll miss his presence here :/
6. Just to confirm, this was on a private computer that could not have been accessed by the other person? (Not a cached login) Just wanting to make sure, cause if that's the case we'll escalate this immediately with full priority.
7. Thanks for bumping this thread. People must feel free to post whenever they spot something not listed, so we can keep it up to date :) I've gone ahead and added the Safire 3 to the site listings.
8. Hey, Reading this article on the topic may help https://howtoremove.guide/remove-s3-amazonaws-virus/ I took a look and it seems to mostly include client/user side removal advice. Suggesting it's not hosted on our server. We do use Amazon ads, being a highly reputable site - we don't anticipate any issues from the ads they serve. However, even after reading through those articles I am unable to say whether it's something that is client side, installed on your device - or something that came through an Amazon ad. However, we have ads enabled here in the office - and we haven't encountered that error, nor had any other reports of it.
9. It's hard to say, but it definitely sounds fishy. While PayPal still remains the best option, it does have people using it for scamming. The situation regarding the phone number is specifically concerning. I definitely wouldn't go through with any payment until you can get verification on the situation with the seller. And at this point I'd say you should treat it as though it is a scammer. At least until they can prove otherwise.
10. We haven't noticed it ourselves, but we'll look into the travel ad network and see if there may be something there slowing things down.
11. It is very possible that if a public computer was used, that one may have accidentally selected the option that keeps one logged in on that device - and then the login details would be cached there. It's definitely understandable that something like that could occur. In fact it would be interesting to hear about whether the OP was using his home computer or a public computer at the time of the post.
12. Not all of it, but some of it is. It's impossible to copyright things like telephone numbers and numerical factual data point, however in some cases things like descriptions have been written by the submitter or the DZ and remain under their ownership.
13. You can make changes to your ads using the sub-navigation menu, just below the main menu. You will see options for modifying your ads etc there.
14. BIGUN is right in that it's hard for us to maintain the database ourselves and we like to have the dropzone updating the information to keep things active. However, if one does have changed that need to be made, they can always just let us know. I've gone ahead and made the change to the listing.
15. We highly recommend against 'scraping', as a lot of what is in the dropzone section is still copyrighted content owned by us. With that said, we're still working to get an API up and running when we launch the new site (which we have been working on for a while now). Once that happens, we hope to give developers a way to easily and legally get our data for their purposes.
16. Thanks for your suggestions, We are currently working on bringing new functionality to Dropzone.com on a new platform. The idea of a figure is something we've been toying with recently in our mockup design process and something we hope to get out at some point. The idea of pushing the info more through popups and expirations makes sense in some ways, but we also find that anything that tries to force a member to take an action makes them annoyed. Though we can look at ways to prompt for the update of correct information.
17. I can't think of how this could be possible without the other user ever having used the same computer as you. We'll investigate the possible cause and ensure to resolve whatever may have caused it.
18. It's simply a case of your computer/browser being unable to view a specific grammar or symbol the way it should, so it replaces it with that. Not sure if perhaps you're running an old browser, but attached is how it appears to me on Firefox.
19. The following scam has been reported: Click here to read more about these kind of scams. Remember: DO NOT do business with anyone who offers to send you payment for a higher amount than your selling price with the understanding that you'll send back the balance. Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of a "client" or another "customer". Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be from Nigeria or West Africa If you agree to accept a check payment, then do not send anything, gear or "change" before the check cleared. And be careful, if you manage to clear a fraudulent check then you may be liable for the damages if the bank finds out later. Make sure your bank authenticates the check. If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.This username has been disabled.
20. Yup, your logins may be cached in cookies. So if those cookies have been cleared or have expired, you'll need to re-login. But otherwise, if your login cookie is still active you won't need to login.
21. The problem here was that you had special characters in the title, using question marks in the title renders the ad link broken. I've removed the question marks from the title. I have also bumped your ad up to the top of the paid listings and given you an extra week of premium ad time, due to the time lost from the broken link.

24. That seems like a fair suggestion. The topic of gear in general is typically quite removed from the aspect of rigging due to its broad nature. Not sure how realistic it would be to implement it, but I'll think about it, check out some of the post numbers and see if it warrants a discussion between us admins.
