    Welcome to a great adventure! I'm 58 and started skydiving last year and every jump is still amazing. I did my 300th last weekend. Have fun!!!

    Thanks so much for posting the pics. There are a few of me that hopefully are the last of their kind. I think I've finally made friends with my canopy...... 9 jumps in a row without ending up rolling in the dirt. Hooray!!! That is fantastic! How did you end up solving the problem? -Skootz/Lucky: No problem I enjoyed you guys letting me document my time jumping with you there. I'm not sure just what happened, but I've always had a tendency to flare high when I got excited and the ground was coming at a pretty exciting speed at first. It seems I've gotten used to seeing the ground coming faster. Then, with lots of practice in the air and on the ground, Im consistently finishing my flare and I hadn't been doing that before.     I can understand people needing to recover from that weekend. I sure had fun up there. Some of us were wondering if you're going to do another boogie in Sept like last year???

    Jump number 2. I was young & dumb, but I knew I'd stumbled upon something that was life altering in more ways than I could fathom. I was right.     I saw that they start Thursday evening, but I have to work Thursday. I won't get done in time to jump up there on Thursday. Sooooooo, since I can't resist a chance to jump, I figure I can jump in Star Thursday evening and then get up early and be jumping at West Plains by noon Friday at the latest.     Hey Cindi, Any idea what time jumping will start on Friday? I'm having a hard time deciding when to head that way. If I don't leave until early Friday morning, I can get a few more jumps in here Thursday evening.

    WEll, I had to pack it before I could jump it, but after 3 tries, I gave up and had our packer do it. After the jump, It ried again and got it in the bag on the first try. I've decided it's not impossible after all.

    Just got mine Friday and finally got ot jump it today. Sooooooo much fun. I went from a Triathlon 220 to a Pilot 188. It sure does fly a bit differently.

    0:6: #three jumps Satruday at Kapowsin in my new jumpsuit. Thanks you so much Valinda. It is beautiful. Then 3 jumps Sunday at home with my new geer. I've gotta admit I was a little nervous on the first jump. I went from a Triathlon 220 to a Pilot 188. That Pilot sure does fly nice.
