How is it 'stirring shit'? I think it's good someone wants to take their own time to hold a charity accountable. That said, I don't think the numbers look terrible at first glance. Yeah, it's not the most efficient charity, but it gets a LOT of publicity. You could probably do more directly with your money by doing a 'walk for the cause' or whatever is in your area, but this event usually gets national coverage - that's worth a huge dollar amount IMHO. EDIT: And I'm fairly certain your numbers are low. I think all the participants agree to raise a certain amount ($2,000? $2500?) and that isn't reflected in the totals yet. I think.
