Wow... that sucks. Luckily, I haven't had the same experience, or I'd be with netflix too. You're right, BB has a slightly better package, but I'd pay a few extra buck if customer service or getting the movies was an issue! In 12 months, I've rented about 150 movies from blockbuster. There's been maybe 2 that never showed up (another 1 or 2 showed up a few weeks late - after I had already reported it lost) and 1 or 2 they didn't get back to them - those have stopped since they started the deal with the post-office 'scanning' them in right away. Will anyone admit to trying Wal-Mart's short-lived stint into online movie rental? it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

Tivo still has more 'cool stuff' than most standard cable DVRs... if you don't mind paying for it, it's nice (I don't have cable or sat, and I got my 80hr tivo for $200 w/lifetime service) Of course, if they keep doing stupid crap, I'm selling it and going with MythTV. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

As a PDA/internet device, it's great. As a phone... not so much. Invest in a decent headset for it and you'll be happier. Go with the 650 if at all possible, and find aservice provider that has a flat rate for data (I have Sprint, and their service is kind of crappy, but they only charge $10/month for unlimited data) -- then you can PW from your phone, use it as a 'modem' with your laptop (with decent speed too) and listen to streaming internet audio in your car it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

I have Blockbuster Online... no problems yet, and I'be had it for a year. Tried netflix for 2 weeks too, they're about the same. Netflix has some cool bells and whistles on their site, but shipping & turn-around times are about the same (actually, I think blockbuster is a hair faster now that they ship the next movie as the one you're sending back is in the mail) and I get 2 free in-store rentals a month - I use those for PS2 games what I actually have free time to use them. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

They were confused, there was a long akward moments, not quick enough on their feet, I said "Thanks, bye!" And you can't register business number on donotcall.gov, so I'm guessing gov numbers aren't listed there either. I always figured the overhead for JFTC was high, but the national recognition for all the pink ribbon stuff and skydiving in general I thought was good. Even better, listen for a few seconds and say "Oh! That sounds great, hang on a second I need you to talk to my husband/wife" They'll wait longer. Anyone heard the one guy who records all his conversations with telemarketers? I forget his name, but he has some hilarious stuff - the "... can you get blood stains out?" to the carpet cleaners that called cracked me up. I get calls at work all the time from people trying to sell me toner - they get really confused when I tell them we don't have any printers. Nope, no fax machines either. Sometimes they'll ask about computer supplies - "we don't have any computers" It has reduced the volume of calls I get though Someone from MCI called wanting to sell me long distance, as almost a programmed response I said "We don't have any phones here" it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

The only tape a remember wearing out was the soundtrack to Pump Up the Volume I've owned Use Your Illusion I & II on tape and CD (lost the tapes) and Seven Mary Three / Water's Edge I think I've bought 2 or 3 times because they got overused/lost. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

IP addy is owned by intercage If that name means something to you, maybe you're behind a proxy server that's dying. Otherwise, it's probably spyware. Check your hosts file, run MS Antispyware, Ad-Aware, hijack this, etc etc. it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality
