If I 'member - NEC bought/merged with Packard Hell - haven't heard much out of either since. HP's desktops suck. Compaq desktops sucks. Guess what - HP and Compaq might merge. They do both make decent servers though. Ill agree with Andyman - Dell's workstations are great, their servers don't suck, but their laptops aren't the best. On the upside, their service is top-notch, so when that laptop breaks it's usually fixed pretty quick. Never argue with stupid people.They just drag you down 2 their level & beat you with experience

Most of my weekend is hazy... I know there was no jumping invovled, but there was about 12 non-stop hours of drinking, eating, and dancing (which must have been amusing to watch with the crutches and everything) That might explain the haziness of the whole thing... Oh, and for future reference: In a pinch, an office chair with wheels works almost as well as a wheelchair. Just make sure the person pushing you hasn't been drinking more than you. post-its are great. i can never remember these stupid root passwords for the billion different servers we have around here, and it changes every month, so I just write the password down on post-its so I don't forget.
