This is very cool. Just shows yet again that just because one or two people want to "DZ bash" because of whatever reason, it doesn't mean the whole DZ shares their feelings. It's just sad that they try to spread lies and possibly keep people from trying new DZs and meeting new people. I guess that can't really be helped.... maybe those people will just grow out of it someday. Thanks Jaime, I look forward to seeing you there sometime in the near future. BTW - you aren't related to the Praeters that live in Lewisburg, are you? ... I forget how the rest of it goes, but you're mother's a whore!!

I don't think this is a bad thing really. As long as he isn't getting blow jobs in the oral-office, and then lying his ass off about it. I think it's kinda nice we have a leader who, at least on the outside, appears to try to be a good man. I really believe that if everyone followed the teachings of the (insert religious manual here) the world would be a better place. I'm not talking about the people who take them to extremes, the fanatics - almost every religion basically says "Worship god X, and be good to your fellow man" Like was said before, he's not a soulless, personality-less robot. I see no problem with him expressing his beliefs. In some cases, I could see it being a problem. But that's why we have this nifty system of checks and balances - no one man (and his religious beliefs) can rule the country. ... I forget how the rest of it goes, but you're mother's a whore!!

No kidding. I haven't gotten the final bill from all my follow-up visits to the OS, or any of my PT visits that I'll be starting this week. I got a seperate bill from when I went into the ER from the "referring physician" - I swear the guy didn't spend 5 minutes with me. Looked at me and said "Yup, looks broken. Let's get x-rays" (duh) Came back an hour later "We need to call a specialist, ok?" The bill was for almost $200 - that translates to almost $2,400/hour Oh well, I guess if you survive 8 or more years of school, you could charge that too. I do not cheat at Euchre

No jumps this weekend. I thought about it Saturday, but I could hardly walk. Something about your foot not moving from one position for 8 weeks, tends to tighten everything up and kill most of your muscles. I'm sure in a few more days, I'll be ready to go, but the weather looks bad this week and I have to work this weekend At this rate, you will have to make a jump for me I had an appointment with my physical therapist on Friday(who's kinda cute by the way - now if the "chicks dig scars" thing is true, I'm set, cause I got a pair of beauties) . She said something about "You're not planning on skydiving again soon are you" ... I just kinda smiled. I think I've already got her talked into doing a tandem though. She said I was her first skydiving related injury. I almost called "beer!" - but figured I should get her into it first. I do not cheat at Euchre

Don You can check the DZ database on this site. The Skydiver's Enclave also has a decent list of DZs (USPA and non) at http://www.enclave.com/links/pages/United_States_Drop_Zones/ And if all else fails, go to your favorite search engine and search for the state you're in (or near) and "dropzone" and see what turns up. Most DZs have at least some sort of web site. I do not cheat at Euchre

Actually, a license does have an 'expiration date' on the card. I don't think it's rediculous at all. He doesn't want to support the organization, he doesn't believe the benefits it gives are worth his money. He'll get a temp membership when someplace requires it to compete or something - what's wrong with that? He's voting with his wallet. Chris *can't* feel that way about the FAA. Now if you said the AOPA, then you might be able to argue (although I doubt it, I've never heard a bad thing about the AOPA) Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your mouth is moving
