I don't know... it sounds kinda like BS to me. I have taken Ambien a few times (my doc won't give me any!) I have had the impression that I was asleep within minutes after taking it. I say impression because I was told I did some funny things that I had no recollection of. The good thing is I sleep all night (which is rare) and wake up refreshed and ready to go. Good stuff there. OK, ok, ok. I was replying specifically in terms of line twists for someone with 4 jumps on student gear. Seriously should be no big deal and if they are then go to emergency procedures. That is very cool! I was on the short list for the Discovery show "Alaska Experiment" and got to the point you are at now. I had to turn it down when I had to seriously consider it - too many real world responsibilities. They were fascinated with the fact that I was a skydiver chick. The tag line on the application was: "Join us, we dare you". My final line on my essay for the app was "Choose me, I dare you." Apparently they liked that. Can't wait to see ya on tv! Line twists are NOT a big deal or uncommon! I did the static line progression where we are taught (and I currently teach) to expect lines twist. I describe them as a nuisance. Just deal with them and get on with it. Be a little more aware of your body position as you open - flat and stable (and not turning).
