WFJ I believe I've only ever quoted the White House's own web site, the CIA factbook, and the Washington Post in my posts. are you saying that's not "fair and balanced"? Yuor "pattern" of posting from far right wing news sources and blogs doesn't make you a very impartial judge, now does it?

    Wow - I never realized that it was only in the last 8 years that the VP acts as the agent of the President - thanks for clearing that up for us. Does the added emphasis help? i think it does - it substitutes for the emphasis in the spoken word that helps any speaker get his point across.

    Just about every post you've made in this thread had one or more logical fallacies or factual errors in it. Maybe you SHOULD read BEFORE hitting "post". Maybe YOU should explain how "a shop full of guns and ammunition didn't do them any good" *isn't* a logical fallacy. Speaking of FACTUAL errors... I didn't see your "shopful of guns and ammo" quote in the link you provided. Was that another "factual error", or are your editorial comments automatically elevated to the status of "Fact" nowadays? Are you suggesting that gun shops don't have guns and ammo in them? If so , it is a damn funny gun shop.

    Well, let's see. The IRS grants tax-exempt status and the IRS is part of, and answers, to the administration, which is headed by Born Again Christian and Republican George W. Bush. So clearly it's all a conspiracy of the religious right to make the Dems look bad.

    If carrying a concealed weapon is a right, why would you need a permit from the state? Since when were permits required to exercise rights? Why would tests and fees and background checks be needed to exercise rights? Since a permit is required in most states, why can't it have conditions attached? Like restrictions on where a concealed weapon can be carried (such as in schools).

    Now that I have a fire extinguisher, I go around lighting fires in public so I can feel like a big man when I put them out. A couple guys started a fire right in front of me because they felt cornered when I showed off the Fire Extinguisher (I named her Belle). Otherwise, they just would have taken Sven's wallet and girlfriend and left peaceably. Frankly, I don't even know why fire fighters need extinguishers. I mean, they should be trained in fire prevention, not just putting them out after the fact. Any fireman that has actually had to put-out-a-fire is a failure and should find other work. (sorry, that last paragraph is just plain retardant) And I thought i was the only one to give my fire extinguisher a name.
