That's very much true, and I believe in the past I've pointed to other parts of scripture that conveyed a similar line of thought. Having said that, I didn't say everyone else. There just seems to be something special about atheists that deliberately do that just because scripture said that. Stuff like that takes a little longer to adapt to - for me anyway. Like I said, it's a process.

What's neat about that one is when an atheist preaches it right after "slapping" you in your face as if they can just get away with it. To them I turn my other butt cheek if they'd like to kiss my ass. Does that count?
  3. I don't get FOX He was talking about FOX News on facebook. You should follow so you can keep tabs and post even more links to their stories, propagating it even further than you already have.
  4. ?? Carlson's last show had 4 million viewers - that's people watching one episode of one show at the same time, and it's highly unlikely that the majority of regular or semi-regular viewers of the channel all sat down at the same time. They've got 20M+ social media followers and their youtube channel has 8B+ views. That's a heck of a lot of exposure before you even get into the repetition of their arguments from viewers to non-viewers. While I'm sure they overestimate their influence, I think you're really underestimating it. Too bad for you - I've already awarded my concession to Joe. But ya, that 20M+ followers is pretty impressive even if a big chunk of them are people like Phil.
  5. That would impute an R naught factor of +/- 30. Seems about right. Being in advertising, I should've known better. But still, Phil's going on ad nauseam about Fox is a bit excessive. But I suppose it's no skin off my back. Ya, I heard you the first time.

  7. If they were wearing Swiss Guard Pantaloons, I Dream of Jeanie Sequin Vests, and Fez Hats as long as they were all lined up in military order and slinging AR-15's in "military ready" carry position then they would still be totally glomming on to America's current Sparta like idolization of the military. It's all completely moronic As it is, I'd say it looks more like they're glomming on to Cobra Troopers.
  8. If Bill thinks this these guys are stealing valor for what they're wearing: Then I don't see why he wouldn't think these guys are as well: And btw, that is the NFAC, (Not Fucking Around Coalition) the same group in question. If you don't see the similarities then maybe you're starting to lose it too. That quote popped up while doing a search and thought it relevant. So, do you think the men in the second pic above feel that "they absorb some valor - valor they can obtain no other way - by making themselves look like soldiers" - the same way you feel about the men in the first pic?
  9. Normiss has me blocked yet I'm still living in his head rent free. He's probably contemplating right now whether or not he should click the drop down button to see this post.
  10. What fatigues? Video from the linked articles seems to show everyone dressed in black shirts. Ok, the actual question to bill was: "Ask yourself, why are they all dressed up in homemade war suits, toting military looking weapons, and looking ready for the call to a homemade war? " I was hoping "fatigues" would've been a simpler way of saying all that while still getting the point across.
  11. Well I'm pretty sure I recall some here bitching/mocking it when white people do it, and the shit storm of law enforcement it would bring if blacks did it. Furthermore, wrt to the fatigues, do you think Bill will come here and say: "they feel that they absorb some valor - valor they can obtain no other way - by making themselves look like soldiers." If it was a predominantly black church congregating back in march/april, would you have said "lock them in and feed them through the mail slot?" Would wolfriverjoe have said to document them, deny them medical treatment and leave them for dead? I thought you people were all about equality. . .

That's exactly what inspired my comment, lol. It crossed my mind to post that clip, but I didn't feel like looking for it.
  13. Dude, give it a rest. There were 60+ million votes for Trump, and Fox has what, like 2-3 million viewers?

Nobody said that. You're making things up again.

Humans are the apex of God's creation, no? Lucifer certainly didn't think so, hence the rebellion and subsequent curse on mankind in their complicity.

The more I see how people really are, the more it becomes apparent that humans are the virus and corona is the cure.

Because Islamic terrorists are a disease, that's why their women wear face coverings.
  18. Did you mean to say if it's in stark opposition to one's social/political/economic and religious ideology? Science is not ever changing. Only the results of science that change based on new evidence. To claim otherwise is to scapegoat the scientific method to avoid confronting the unscientific method supporting one's own held beliefs. I'm not going argue too much about it. Science has it's place, but I will say that it is not the end all be all. Science has limitations and cannot be applied to all facets of life and the decisions therein. We are not automatons, nor should we be.

Yep. In many places that is now "no shoes, no shirt, no mask, no service." I believe Michigan's law starts Monday. $500 fine and possible misdemeanor charge. Not sure what the penalties are in other states.
  20. Different Strokes (with regard to post #8879, the villain in that movie often said "simon says.")

That idea can be simplified even further with "no shoes, no shirt, no service."

It was shut down because you could not let it go. You're right - like I said, I've been here long enough to know better than to feed the trolls, especially the flagrant ones that apparently really get off on it. Good on you for holding me to a higher standard and going out of your way to bring new antonymous definitions to the word "moderator." I'm sure I'll grow to be a better person for it - thanks!
