Yeah, tell that to the judge. "Speeding? Pffft, yeah right, it's not my fault they make these things go 160 MPH, besides the speed limit sign was way back there like a mile away." "Flying a drone into an airliner? Pftttf, yeah right, you can blame the Chinese for that one, it's not my fault their geofence didn't work." "Trespassing? Pffft, I didn't even have to pick the elevator lock, your bad."

This is how you use kids as a political weapon.

To be fair, though, the shark was real, in the movie. Right, just not everywhere you look - tho this is probably more applicable to some AGW alarmists out there rather than covid. More Crime - Global warming! More Terrorism - Global warming! Migrant Caravan - Global warming! What's next, globally synchronized menstrual cycles? Acting like that doesn't really help the cause, but I have to admit, given how many people are acting as if covid is a hoax or whatever, I can understand why some people feel the need to do it. -

Now the fliside to that: It's just bluefish! -
That's a foolish thing to say and you must know it. Unless you are a complete moron you do not give up cover if you expect to be in a gunfight. The idiot trespassers were only trespassing. Going outside to brandish stupid, useless weapons was plain dumb if the homeowners were, as was claimed, afraid. It's utter nonsense. They were not afraid. They reeked of being in white privilege control. Furthermore the overall context of this nationwide rebellion was basically peaceful anger. No torches, no pitch forks, no one being dragged from their beds for execution. Job one in threat negotiation is to avoid escalation. Next you sell the idea of peace. Unless, that is, you crave the idea of confrontation. Dude you're all over the place, (paraphase) from "chasing motherfuckers down the drieway, bustin caps, dropping the UPS guy, turning the the other cheek, pull your gun and shoot, (btw, nobody shot) self defense, gunfight/no gunfight, warnings are foolish, blah blah blah. . ." Other than that I agree with you, or maybe not, who the hell knows?

Elm Street (Jeeze, everything seems to be TV, movies, or sports with me - makes sense tho.)

I think The Atlantic article does a decent job separating the good and the bad.

I agree but its difficult to forgive those who endanger others and cost other lives. Especially over politics. I have no problem with these things being pointed out - I just have no interest in joining your guys' circle jerks and didn't want my post to be seen as such.

He was talking about the cancel culture. Here's another excellent article (as usual) from The Atlantic: https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2020/07/cancel-culture-and-problem-woke-capitalism/614086/

Butt loads? I thought Rs counted women by the binder full. I had an opportunity to use butt and breast in the same sentence and I seized it. Carpe Diem Baby

Hence the "record deepness" of the Great Lakes. . .
-
Too bad we don't have butt-loads of women demanding they show us their breasts, eh? . . .and then overwhelm/distract law enforcement so I can speed and trespass with impunity.

Do you reckon he was praying he wouldn't get it before he got it or was he maybe distracted by praying for winning lottery numbers? I don't see any reason to kick this guy or his family when they're down, nor was that my intention. You guys have made your point. Let it serve as an example and move on. May God be merciful to us all when we make mistakes, especially if it's a fatal one.

For some prayer also serves as a form of meditation whereby they receive confirmation on how to approach various issues. For example, one may pray to be protected from covid, then suddenly proverbs 27:12 pops into your head: "The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it."

Hey Jerry, I'm stuck on the atheists preaching part. I's kind of sad when ignorance is funny. Mark Ya, they even have churches now.

He should be in the Hall of Fame.

From Article: So that's all? Everything's fine now, no red flags there, nothing to see here? Why wasn't this guy immediately relieved of his duty and firearm until further evaluation, especially a psych evaluation? It's like I said before, some of these shootings just shouldn't fall under the category of an accident, like that drunk guy that deliberately shot the gun in his friends face thinking it was empty.
