Yes, this too....some people are just picky pricks like that.... always testing people n' shit. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

I know guys in the carpet and roofing business that left jobs because of things like this...but most of us don't have that luxury. My current profession isn't physically labor intensive so it makes it easier to deal with picky customers, but it's still very annoying and slows things down....especially when they have know idea how to perform the job. But I'm also guilty of being picky...I usually change my own oil, but sometimes I go to the shop just to save time. I'm always nervous when someone else works on my car so I'm usually watching them like a hawk....some places don't like it so they say that I have to leave for insuranve reasons....maybe you can say the same thing. I also had a lady throw me out of the barber shop for "being too picky..." (in all honesty...the haicut was crooked") I think many of us have things that we're picky about and just want to make sure it's done right to avoid problems like my engine that fried because those oil guys f'd up the oil pan plug. I've found that soild communication helps solve problems, but I'm always gonna keep an eye on those oil guys...sometimes it's better just to DIY....like you said. As I'm typing this, there is a story on msnbc reporting that Phelps says he's embarassed and may not attempt the 2012 olympics..... I think it's a pretty good move....the millions of letters of support will do wonders for his self esteem...maybe he'll get 10 metals next time! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/olympic_games/7873210.stm Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

Well I usually want my security gaurds to hate the crime they're protecting against, but at the same time I don't want a bunch of vigilante's running around... However, I'm ok with a lone vigilante...like batman, or the unbreakable... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

I can agree, but I think we should be a little more careful about looking in the mirror before we end up saying, "you know what? I AM a sick freak....it must be ok, I'm not a hypocrite...lets have a free for all...anything goes." Again, I think there is a difference in understanding our depravity vs. perpetuating it. It's similar to the idea that we don't go around recommending people to go Base Jumping....I'm not saying that people are going around telling others to go have some chick hang you upside down by your balls...(where's that picture when I need it?) I'm just saying we need to at least recognize our depravity as depravity and take heed that it doesn't promote a mindset that could lead to the deterioration of basic human morality for future generations. Well then I hope our society doesn't become so backwards that liberals turn into conservatives and call us hypocrites when we voice our opinion against their debauched practices...how's that? Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

*friendly, somewhat inquisitve tone* Since we are comparing apples to who the hell knows what, let's say one day popular opinion becomes ridiculously goat fuck liberal-extreme, and the decision makers totally lose their minds and decide to change the age of consent to when humans reach physical sexual maturity. Would all of us here be hypocrites for speaking our opinion against it? I know this is an extreme example, but wtf? we need limits... There is an important difference between understanding human depravity, recognizing it, and correcting it within one's self vs just indulging in it shamelessly aboveboard without regard to those it negatively affects and the consequences thereof. Granted, there are much more sick, twisted and hedonistic things than being involved with BDSM....but c'mon....skydiving!? Oddly enough, I get your point, but lets be careful before we become liberal psychotic nuts and set irresponsible precedents before we REALLY lose our sense of morality, and people in the distant future start defending the real crazy shit like lowering the age of consent. Why does someone have to be a hypocrite just because they state their opinion. Public Opinion matters and influences our idea of what is obscene or immoral...We all have some type of moral compass, even if it is a cheap one, and we need to respect its direction. Lets consider the following quotes from others in this thread: I agree with you that some of the stuff people do is not choices I'd make, but I don't think forcing my decisions on others is the answer just as the same I don't want their decisions forced on me. quick question: what do you think of homosexuals!? should they also not be allowed to live their lifestyle!? what do you think should be done with them? just because there's a majority of heteros and a minority of homos? now imagine being an sm-loving homo.. u get the idea maybe.. fucking get out of your VERY little world and widen your horizon! i have many gay and lesbian friends, BDSM-people, even a bisexual sub! (ouh, and that girl was fun to play with, i learned a thing or two there.. i might find things strange n'all, but fuck it, if only ONE person feels better because of that, so be it!!! What you don't seem to be getting is that not everybody's jumping on the Dominatrix Bandwagon, rather we're saying that people who enjoy those activities have a right to enjoy them. The Declaration of Independence asserts the rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. I pursue my happiness by jumping and I don't want some safety fanatic to stop me because there is risk involved. I have no desire to be abuse by a gorgeous woman, but hey, to each his (or her) own. That's up to the couple whether or not to "get upset" about that. Their communication beforehand is what is the key there. There are far more people that have fetish fantasies than there are those that actually indulge in them. The media and internet have just done more to bring these activities into the public light in the last 20-30 years. Before that they were underground and didn't recieve that much public interest. Now, I think we all would agree that it would be devastating if society and public opinion broke it's cheap moral compass and started to use statements similar to these to support consensual sex with those that have obtained physical sexual maturity. I am NOT suggesting that anyone here would ever support such a concept, but sadly, at the rate things are going, I would not be suprised if society began to marvel over their tolerance so much so, as to legitimately consider this idea. It shouldn't be to hard to fathom since I obviously have no option but to use such an extreme example to prove a point about human morality... Again, I'm aware of the fact that this is an extreme example...and I hope nobody thinks I'm spinning shit this way just to be unfair and difficult or to say that liberals support grossly immoral/obscene sexual behavior, or that I'm on the moral high horse judging everyone. I'm Not calling for a rise to opposition against BDSM. I'm just trying to make the point that we all have our limits or at least we should. At best, I'm just trying to point out possible security vunerabilities with becomming way to tolerant for our own good.... You would agree this is a legitimate point, right? Surely we can see the roaller coaster on which the public preception of morality has been riding for the past 200 years. We need to keep it well maintained so that it can function properly and not de-rail.....Yes? Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

I'm willing to listen to people like you, Anvil, and Glen Beck (God bless his heart), but I rarely hear any solutions other than "just let capitalism run its course! We have, and look where it's corruption has led us... I wish we could live in a perfect world, with less people and minimal government...but it doesn't seem practical anymore. Reality shows us that the population is rising....Opinions, ideals, beliefs, and principles are growing out of control at an alarming rate. We either have to rise up and fight, or we have to make the best of globalization, which at this time seems inevitable. What hope can pure capitalism bring us? I hear no plan, no solutions....just a bunch of over opinionated loud mouths. What are we supposed to do? Where is some substance that the "idiot fucktard socialists" can digest? What do we do with all the people who have been fucked, are being fucked or about to be fucked because of BS capitalistic GREED! I did not support the original Bailout....I supported the auto loan because it was just a fraction of the funds that the banks shouldn't have recieved in the first place. The benefits seemed more tangible and supported millions of people...it was more accurate to the purpose of what we were originally told...the goal to help people stay in their homes....not buy a bank for free day. I have smelled the coffee, but what kind is it....French Roast or Columbian? Do you have any sugar? Cream? What the hell is that oily residue floating around on top? I'm going with conserveral-independocrat that supports women's rights, but absolutely hates and despises the idea of abortion... However, I think we should shake the money tree as hard as we can to support women so they may have the opportunity to make an informed decision that is truly best for her, but will hopefully limit the number of both unwanted pregnancies and abortions through education and support. (physically, emotionally, finacially) Both here and abroad, eventhough such hopes may not be met. If we must....we should shake the tree even harder so that there is no need for "Back Alley Butchers" anywhere. There must be safe a safe haven for women to go if they are considering the service of such barbarians...or feel threatened, or have no where to go...they should not go through this alone. Long-Term Therapy should also be provided if needed after an abortion...even if the abortion was performed by a private physician. If we spend...we spend and do it right. This issue is very serious and needs everyones attention, support and willingness to compromise/understand. Women must be protected, and their babies must be given proper regard in a serious deliberation of life or death. To the religious I would say we must learn to compromise with logic and facts...we live in a composite society, with laws that are recognized and respected by God. Love and compassion for an individual should not be considered a compromise with evil....they are not. Even if it is, Love and compassion FIRST! Who is going to benefit from contentious fits of rage, especially with those who we are not to judge? When will Churches/Christ once again be looked upon as places of refuge...not condemnation? Likewise, the world must have a new respect for life...It is wrong to think of an abortion so lightheartily that we become so jaded as to say things like "I have a recipe for fetus fajitas!" Is this funny? Would we laugh if someone said "I have a recipe for American troop testicle soup, so it's all good....let em die?" Its Barbaric! and does not help the compromise/understanding. Such statements and Ideas should be reconsidered. I would also ask for people to reconsider any idea that minimizes abortion as just another simple decision, problem solved,no consequences...Those that could careless if a pill is swallowed, or a fetus exterminated like a rat....And don't say "Strawman!" because there are people out there that just don't give a fuck....something fundamentally went wrong somewhere...they need help, and that help should be available. There is no doubt that this burden is heaviest on the woman, and ultimately my remaks, comments, and opinions really don't matter, but it is obvious that this problem has included everyone, especially since it deals with the fundamentals of humanity, society, our principles, and also our finances. If this post seems selfish, I apologize, but I, like millions of others are tying to come to terms with this....If we are able to come to some type of compromise/understanding....what does our difference of opinion matter if the goal is the same? I just had to get that off my chest for some reason. San Dimas High Scool Football Rules! Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

Well, it is most definately a threat and there seems to be some decisions that need to be made w/r/t new Iron fertilization experiments. This new website promoting a film on the issue gives reference to the ban on iron fertilization in May 2008 by the UN's convention on Biological Diversity, unless conducted through small scale. However, the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research and the National Institute of Oceanography in India are leading a large scale iron fertilization expermiment. "Alarmed environmentalists, led by the Canada-based ETC Group, urged Germany's Environment Minister, Sigmar Gabriel, to stop the experiment. The German government suspended it while legal and environmental reviews were carried out, and the scientists expect to hear the result early this week." Dr Richard Lampitt of the University of Southampton's National Oceanography Centre. . . says: "We desperately need to make this sort of experiment if we are going to make rational decisions in the future." A Sea Change-Main website A Sea Change-Film Trailer I still have much to learn on this subject, but it's got my attention. I have decided that I will no longer release flatus while swimming in the depths...every little effort will help. Also, there is an enviornmental film festival approaching and I've been looking for some good issues to promote....this looks like it could be one of them. thanks for the links.... Well, Polish Village said they had it, but when I got there...they said they ran out. (damn polocks) They said they restock on thursday's for the weekend....so I guess it must be good. I then went to another restaurant across the alley called Polonias...They also ran out, so I drank this Beer instead It's a more popular beer, but very mellow for an 8.3% 500ml bottle of Porter. mmmmm, good When I was leaving, the girl told me..."you come back, yes? We have Tyskie friday...we have party! I think I just might show up! I'll get some better pics, when it won't be so creepy to do so. Thanks Ralffers!
