You do, but hopefully with the spirit of God teaching you...A nice rule of thumb to keep is, when it starts becomming about you, your lusts, and what you want...you're probably going the wrong way. Many Christian sects can atleast agree on the basics...I was talking to a kid (ironically at the bar)going into the seminary to become a priest...He absolutley and clearly denied the Bible and basically said that the Pope and their secret transendant knowledge + tradition trumps the Bible...no thanks.
