I'm sure you guys would actually have a great time together...well at least if I was there to mediate. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  2. You know where the game Texas hold'em came from don't you? ...never misunderestimate your opponent. ...and if ya'll think Bush was really that stupid, I don't know what else to say but, tsk tsk tsk. These are the kings of poker and they got us all. They may talk funny and have a different edumacation system, but they know what they want, and they sure as hell know how to get it. ...and the scariest part is that they couldn't care less what you think about em' Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  3. Would you say it is the same as the 7d in terms of video capability? also, what frame rate did you use? 25? Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  4. No it ain't don't you mean "isn't" tsk tsk. ...I mean tisk tisk Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  5. Spelling, too. An apostophe is for the possessive; never the plural. Tsk tsk. grhammer nazies... Their, hows that! *edit* sorry, I ment grahmer. but seriously, is it nazis or nazies? I'm all flustered on this one. Probably why I made the mistake in the first place...do grammar rules apply to german words? ...this has been the greatest challenge yet in these forums. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  6. Of course not...it has always been hatred rooted in pride, but I doubt you'll find any scientific studies that can come to that conclusion since the human heart is impossible to weigh....we can only know that it is desperately wicked and that it expresses it's wickedness in a variety of forms. 7. I see... ...and b4 I saw your post, I wanted to edit mine to say: In all fairness to Wendy, given what I know of her personality, I can see how she could look at muslims in this country as being somewhat oppressed and her feeling a need to stick up for them. 8. I was talking about validating his point by becomming grammar nazi's and not presenting a rebuttal. ...but then again, I haven't really seen any of the 3 posters I was responding to showing any partiality toward muslims...but you on the other hand...ummm, I don't know.
  9. tsk tsk. Grammar, John. Them thar? Its what passes for the english langauge in certain parts of America. them thar parts It's nice to see everyone validating John's point. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  10. This whole thing is pointless. Christians kill this many. Muslims kill that many. But Athiests kill this many. no,no...Christians kill this many yet, buddhist kill this many wait, they weren't buddhist, they were athiest... None of it's about God, but rather power, money, control and resources...and maybe a tiny bit of good intentions paving the road to hell. I'm with Andy...It's apaulling! ...and we all just end up looking foolish for entertaining the idea. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  11. Because it seems like patronage...to close for comfort to me...the next thing all thes religious instituions are gonna be making huge demands on the government and religion will have influence on the lives of those who don't want it more than it already has. Like they don't already. As you can see, I've already toched on this point. Personally I don't care if Muslims, Mormons, Scientologists and Christians gain more political clout...I've been primed to live happily in any environment. (Though I wouldn't really want any strong politically voiced Christian sending the wrong message about Christianity.) But, many people here (maybe even yourself included) have a problem with religious political clout, so I'm suprised you'd want to go down a road that would make it stronger. If I have any concern, it's protecting Churches from any political pressure especially from future government officials that we don't even know yet. The only book you should worry about opening is the Bible.
  12. Lenin and Stalin were atheists, and they pretty much hold the record for killing. Not even Hitler himself came close. mh . Better check up on Uncle Mao.... I think he wins the overall prize Wasn't he Buddhist? *Edit* oops, no...he was raised buddhist, but became Athiest. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...

  14. So are you saying that you're against the seperation of church and state? I don't want the government in my "religion" and we don't want religion in our government. How bout we keep it like it is and let the employees of these institutions pay there own taxes. Btw, there are no Islamic Churches...that's like an oxymoron. 15. Ok, so it basically means that "those beliefs annoy the heck out of me but I'm gonna put up with them because I feel like I have to." I can accept that. Like the logical view that things just pop out of thin air, or lack thereof...sounds more like hocus pocus to me. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  16. Great, so you have no tolerance for this crap...I respect that....At least you're honest. Tolerance is just a term people use to feel better about themselves and make them look more appealing to the general public... Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  17. Fine...so a judge agrees in giving equal rights to black people because he thinks he has to, or that he should, or that it is the right thing to do, but in his personal opinion he still thinks that they are stupid porch monkey niggers... Thanks...that's really gonna help our personal relationship if I'm black. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  18. Hello, I don't. You are obviously missing the point because you don't wanna answer the question. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  19. Prior to the semicolon describes religion to the T, the words after are simply subjective. No it doesn't, but one can hold that opinion...but how can you then say you have tolerance, while holding true to the definition? Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  20. Tolerance: a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from one's own; freedom from bigotry. Silly: weak-minded or lacking good sense; stupid or foolish. "I have a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from my own and I'm free from bigotry, even though I think they are weak-minded, lacking good sense, stupid and foolish." Do you see the conflict there? Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  21. That last part seems a bit peculiar to me, and maybe even a little disconserting. I was just gonna let it go, but it's still buggin' me a tinch. First, it seems to come out of nowhere...off topic...but after trying to figure it out, the only thing I could come up with is that most people here view you as being tolerant of religious beliefs, so you were just using that statement as an analogy to explain your political persona. Second, that statement seems to conflict with what tolerance actually is. Saying that religious beliefs are silly doesn't really seem like a fair, objective, and permissive attitude. To me, tolerance seems more like a true or honest understanding of ones beliefs yet with the ability to explain why you feel those beliefs aren't obligatory. If those qualities aren't met, it ends up sounding more like "those beliefs annoy the heck out of me but I'm gonna put up with them because I feel like I have to." Kinda like, "I'm all for racial equality even though I think they are an inferior race." Ultimately, I feel that tolerance is for the benefit of the other person or group and when we make statements like these that benifit is lost and becomes a wash. Now I don't really have a problem with people saying religious beliefs are silly...It just bugs me when it's used it the same sentence with tolerance. Best Regards, Corey. 22. Well, with the exception of my kindergarten experience I could've also been considered a late bloomer...around 17 like yourself. ...had a kid at 21...now girls scare the living daylights out of me. I now also think they all have cooties...and in this day and age, I'm probably right! (great, now watch me get blasted as a misogynistic s.o.b) Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  23. When I was in kindergarten we were drawing risque stick figures and making out with the girls at nap time...It may have been better to just watch Reagan give a speech.....Ya, I probably would've fallen asleep, but at least I wouldn't have been acting naughty. Both the girl I made out with at nap time and the girl next door with whom I'd "play house" both became victims of teen pregnancy later on in life. I always wondered where we got that stuff from when we were so young...Did the girls go through an experience at home with which they influenced me, or did I influence them? Was this sexual curiousity inherrent in me at such a young age or did HBO influence me that one day when I was watching my Saturday morning cartoons...I was flipping through the channels during a commercial when my mom was in the kitchen, and there it was, the most interesting thing I ever saw in my life up to that point...Mezmorized by a full nude strip tease at 10am. If I'm not mistaking, I believe the FCC fixed that problem a little while later...or at least started to enforce the laws against it. In any event the human mind is a very delicate and impressionable gift...especially a child's. It needs to be protected. Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
  24. Of course, the problem with the Saudi Way of Life is that it is imposed on everyone, not just the certain segment that wants it. This reminds me of the statement of faith of this one Baptist Church that I started to attend yesterday.(primarily because they are the only ones that I can find around here that preach expositionally.) It was very refreshing to hear: 10. Religious Liberty: We believe that every human being has direct relations with God, and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith; that each church is independent and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority; that, therefore, church and state must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from dictation or patronage of the other. (Galatians 3:26-29; 5:16-25; Romans 13:1-7; 14:1-5; Hebrews 4:14-16; 13:7,8, 15-17; Acts 4:19,20; 5:27-42) Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are...
