They do inject way too much drama... but, it is the only one that has held my attention for longer than 5 minutes... Normally the closest thing to reality tv that I ever watch is American Chopper... I think all of us in the GSC (Rome, GA) group are heading out Thursday as well... We are trying to arrange "special" transportation too (think short bus)!!! I will find out how many slots we will have available and let everyone in the Atlanta area know that might be interested if it pans out. We are hoping to get a "short bus" with a loading platform on the rear so that we can practice our tailgate exits on the ride down... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

My company prints billboards all day long (we are a large format printer)... I will have to make some screen grabs of a few of the funnier ones that are real boards and not works of photo shop. There are some disgusting ones as well... PETA prints some screwed up shiat... We just did one with a bloody sheeps butt... I couldnt help but think of Clay!!! SWEET!!! I can't wait to do our tailgate practice exits off the lift on the back of the "Short Bus" as we pull in to the parking lot yelling "DOOR!!!" IIRC correctly the main is also subject to the same repack cycle as the reserve in the US (120 days, FAR 105.43) Lets be careful out there Foggy The main was taken out, inspected, and repacked... It was pretty crispy... I would be nervouse jumping a main that had been packed for over a month without taking it out and airing it out... but, of course, that is my opinion... and I am merely a squirrel trying to get a nut... For those of you that know me, you know that is has been a while since I have jumped (as well as posted on dz.com)... Well this past weekend I decided that it was time to come back home... my home in the air, that is... So, Friday night I work late, until about 7. DZ is over an hour away. DZO tells me I have until 9pm to get there in order to get a fresh repack... It was a race against time, but I made it... I had planned on just getting the repack and heading home to jump another weekend due to money constraints... Yeah right! I start drinking and catching up with all the regs at the DZ. Therefore, pull up a nice piece of floor in manifest to crash for the night... 7:30 AM Sat. - DZO comes out of his office waking everyone up because he has two hotties showing uo at 8:00AM for tandems... As every one is coming to DZO looks at me and says "Want to go ahead and get current?" What the hell am I supposed to say? I respond with "Of course" First load of the day & here I go... We plan a simple, no pressure 2 way recurrency dive... Object - stay stable, do some turns, forward movement, etc... We take off and climb to altitude... We get around 11,000 ft due to clouds... No problem... Jump Run... "Door!"... Damn that air is cold... Who cares... Climb Out... Give the count... EXIT!... I am HOME again!!! God it is great to be back in the air, but where the hell are my legs... I am back sliding like nobodies business... Gee this feels awfully fast (note to self: lose some weight)... 5k, break off... turn.. track... 4.5k wave... 4k toss... Now this is where it gets interesting... I feel the pin pop, bag lift off my bag, canopy coming out... then WHAM !!! I get spun up like a frickin top! Next thing I know, I have the most line twists I have ever seen and my head is being pinned to one side by my also twisted risers... Damn that hurt... Check Alti... I am cool to try and fix... Canopy is flying above all the crap in my face... after a couple of tries I finally get the twists out... I am at 2.2k... Cool... Canopy seems quicker (note to self: lose some damn weight)... Play around for a bit... Come in for a nice quick landing that I was fortunate enough to run out (no wind day as well)... Boy that was interesting... Walking back to manifest... DZO greets me with "Hey man, nice swoopish landing for someone that hasnt jumped in over a year..." (i say thanks) then he says "but why the hell is your face bleeding?"... because my ass got bitch slapped by a Tri 190!!!!! DZO says "yeah, i guess she was saying "who loves ya baby?"" Karma = Do not leave your rig packed up in a closet for a year and a half and expect her not to be upset with you!!! Damn it's good to be home!!! Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

I wanted a swing very bad until my buddy got one... His wife had been on the pill for years with no issues, and after only one week of installing the swing... You guessed it... She got pregnant!!! Bad mojo!!! Must have been the angle or something... He has since taken the bullets out of the gun... At least he can brag that his son was concieved in a sex chair...
