Anniversary Boogie in Thomaston ~
hisgoofyness replied to sunnydee123's topic in Events & Places to Jump
for those of you who can't read shkimmel-ease... I did a little bit of a correction... Just trying to help bro... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me! -
Dude, I still have a couple of old PPI art series amps... They get a little warm, but they still crank out the wattage! I have been out of the game for a while, and am considering dabbling once again... I may have to check out the Memphis and Elemental lines, they are new to me! All the yo boys i have seen around here run audiobahn... looks like cheap crap to me... I have a friend pushing diamond subs, do you know much about them? Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

That is not pimped, that is quality equipment. The dyanmat keeps the car from becoming a rattle trap. There are audiophiles such as myself that arent building sytems for "boom" but for clarirty... You would just have to hear the difference to know what we are talking about. Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

My phoenix amps are from around 1995, when they were built solid as a rock! I like Fosgate or Kicker mono amps for subs. My favorite amp for mids and highs that I ever owned was a Hifonics... Lasted me over 10 years before it gave me the white smoke treatment... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

Yes... if the installers are worth a damn... It will sound great!!! One thing most people don't realize about car audio... Great equipment is only a part of the equation; a great installer is worth far more... I used to install quite a bit in years past, but have never considered myself a pro... I have a few installer friends that can take a Crunch (read cheap) subwoofer and make it sound like true audiophile quality!!! Granted that is harder to do with the mids and highs, but the point is still the same... Installers do not get near the credit as they should... Congratulations on that set up!!! You bought the same brands I buy. I have a 10" 10W6 in a box (manufacturer's box that is), two Phoenix Gold amps, a set of Boston Acoustics components and a cap, all waiting on my ass to get busy... All I have done is put the Alpine deck in the dash... I am a slacker... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

Have you ever heard the song Hellbound Train by Savoy Brown? you just brought back some good ol memories of my younger days... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

I concur with most here... I like the flavor of charcoal, also less flame ups; but I enjoy the ease of gas. Therefore, I have two grills. For the week night "quick" dinners, I use my gas grill. If I am having friends over on the weekend and grilling for everyone, I break out the big ol charcoal grill. Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

I am in the same boat as Rocky. I did four years in the Air Force enlisted and wanted to go back in as an officer after college. Alas, I am too fawking old!!! Now, I am too old and too fat!!! If given the chance, I would jump all over it. Follow your dreams my dear! Don't let anyone live your life for you! Take charge for YOU! Damn the torpedos; full speed ahead!!! If you do decide to go in, we will do our best to watch over Lee... He is a handful, but somewhat manageable I hope... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me! -

Plane = yes SDA has the super fast king air, but the caravan doesn't suck Best Landing Area = Rome (huge airport with lots of grassy areas, no worries of crosswind landings, unless you like them) / SDA isnt bad either / & i like jumping in to The Farm (i dig the funnel) Good Vibe = (in my experience) Rome, SDA, The Farm just another view to consider... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

Really depends on my mood... Somber = Metallica - Fade to Black Drinking = Buffett - Why dont we get drunk & screw / or Big & Rich - save a horse ride a cowboy all Southern Culture on the Skids Funky = Lipps Inc. - Funky Town Soft Rock = Floyd - Learning to fly / comfortably numb Bluesy = Hendrix - Red House / Keb Mo - am i wrong / well i like most of keb mo's stuff Anger = Pantera - Broken / Limp B - Break Stuff Ok, I can see i am not getting anywhere with this... I am a huge music lover. I love almost all genres: metal, rock, industrial, techno, ambient, blues, reggae, etc. You name it, I probably have an artist I enjoy in it... Sorry, I couldnt be more specific... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!

Gee Andrea... You act like we party hard in Atlanta... Muuhahahahahaha!!! I think The Farm would be his best chance of getting on several loads Sunday; for the same reason... Less competition to get on a load!!! I am sure there will be one or two hung over jumpers out of the cycle... Goudha is for Buddha, and that's good enough for me!
