    Just a quick note - while magnetic riser covers (or any magnets, or any metal) can affect an aircraft's magnetic compass, none will affect an aircraft's directional gyro, which is what most pilots use as a compass. Traditionally the DG is aligned to runway heading before takeoff, and the magnetic compass is used only when the DG fails or precesses a bit during a long flight. Personally I set DG by compass and confirm runway heading before takeoff.

    Rotator cuff surgery 2009. Had to reattach tendon with screws. 61 days from surgery till I jumped. Doctor had cleared me for full activity but still added don't push too hard. Shoulder was still stiff and sometimes reaching back for BOC was sometimes difficult but learning to dearch/grab BOC/rearch/pitch helped. Totally 100% now. I did the full PT doctor ordered (3 & 2 times per week) and PT several times a day on my own. I pushed hard on PT cause I was scheduled to go to the Irish Parachute Club Boogie 10 weeks after surgery.

    Are you saying that in Florida the police can not require ID when they catch someone breaking the law? The guy was jaywalking, wouldn't getting ID so that you don't write a ticket with a false name on it seem the normal thing to do? Is the officer just supposed to write "B. Obama" on the ticket if that is the name he is given? I do believe that law enforcement are going to tazers more than necc. these days and that this needs to be addressed. James He should write Son of B. Obama.

    If the PO had told the man he was going to site him for jaywalking, then I think asking for an ID was proper. If PO just came up and ask for an ID then wrong. Causing a ruckus with police when carrying with or without permit could have ended badly. Lesson learned. If I am videoing an event don't mess it up by speaking over the video. I won't get into jaywalking laws. The guy could have just littered and the results been the same.

    Why should I believe the author of the article when she wrote. "Some of these taxes—such as the 2.3 percent excise tax on the sale of medical devices—could be passed along to consumers." Taxes are always passed along to consumers. Maybe not at first, but they will catch up in the p/l planning in future years. The author is an idiot and has probably never wrote a paycheck.
